MILGRAM ENGLISH FANDUB
Project Overview

hello, thank you for checking out this project! this is an unofficial, english fandub for singing all the MILGRAM songs, dubbing all the voice dramas, and all the comics! for those unfamiliar with MILGRAM, MILGRAM is an interactive music project created by DECO*27 and yamanaka takuya. the story takes place in a mysterious prison with 10 prisoners. you experience MILGRAM through the eyes of the amnesiac prison guard es, guided by the talking rabbit jackalope. you will have to uncover the truth behind the prisoners' crimes, and vote whether or not they should be forgiven. there are 3 trials in MILGRAM; each trial with a song for every prisoner, which contain hints regarding their crimes. voting for the prisoners can be done once a day via the official website or the MILGRAM Portal app following the release of the prisoners' songs. depending on your vote, it may change the songs and placement of the prisoners in the next trial.

REQUIREMENTS:
- be at least 15

- have a microphone that doesn't pick up too much background noise + a software that allows you to make song covers.

a quiet young prisoner who's normally always looking at the ground. at first, he would only respond to es’s questions with a word or two. but as he starts to open up more through conversation, he slowly starts to become more talkative. when you're able to communicate with him properly, you can see his true personality: a kind and gentle person.

a female high school prisoner who appears trim and tidy. a pretty young girl who has a gentle, laid-back and whimsical attitude. she's surprisingly good at reading the room, and is able to stop conflicts from breaking out. she has a habit of jokingly asking for money. she's quick to get friendly with people, even in her first meeting with es.

a young, strong-minded prisoner with fierce-looking eyes. out of everyone in MILGRAM, he is the most impulsive and has a rough temper. he has a strong sense of justice, and will strongly oppose any wrongdoing. when talking to es, he protested on his own rights, and demanded better living conditions.

(cooperating) "i mean, i really can't do anything in this current situation, after all. there aren't any exits to be seen, and i can't use brute force either..."

a bishoujo prisoner who seems to be cut off from the rest of japan, and has an air of transparency. she appears to be indecisive but is actually very blunt with her words, and can’t accept being in the unusual situation in MILGRAM. when meeting es, she appeared very wary. her seemingly well upbringing suggests that she was likely born into a fortunate family. either due to this or her high pride, when she runs into conflicts with others, she immediately starts to cry or whine.

(more open, almost relaxed) "ah...you know...it was one confusing thing after another, but it turned out to be kinda funny after a while."

a tall male prisoner with gentle expressions. he is considered to be one of the more senior prisoners in MILGRAM, and he is cool-headed and calm, or at least not easily perturbed. when meeting with the prison guard, realising that they were far younger than himself, he seemed to treat them like a child in an attempt to make them feel comfortable. despite being in an unfamiliar place like MILGRAM, he still wishes for himself to be consented to capital punishment.

a talkative, ever-smiling female prisoner who's warm like the sun. she doesn’t play favourites with the people she interacts with, and is very devoted. she is the oldest among the female prisoners. despite that, she's pure-hearted, always acting cheery even when she's being teased or lied to. her presence in MILGRAM allows others to feel more relaxed.

an easy-going prisoner who is always making jokes to lighten the mood. considers himself an old man compared to the other prisoners but is kind to everyone regardless. kazui likes to drink, as found out from the MILGRAM Portal, he considers it his number one hobby and can drink anything "whether it be beer wine or shochu."

a female prisoner and the youngest in MILGRAM. in contrast with her age, she is very calm, mature and polite. she is usually seen with a vague smile and hasn’t shown any sign of fear from finding herself in MILGRAM. even amidst conflicts with the other prisoners, she sits in a corner, not wanting to be involved. her words and actions are mature, but on the other side, her strong belief in God shows a childlike pureness

(calm, explaining) "it is vital to always be on time for things. when you do something wrong, you need to apologize. those are both my personal rules and those of society."
(slight anger but calm) "i see. then, are the things that i as a twelve-year-old think are irrelevant? are you going to cast aside the feelings that i know i have in this very moment based on the fact that i have not yet lived for a very long time?"

a normal person with average build. a rational individual who is constantly bewildered by the oddity of MILGRAM. he is trying to get used to these unusual circumstances. unlike the other members who are aware of their sins, he doesn’t know anything about his own crimes. he firmly believes that it was a slip-up that caused him to be brought here. in the middle of the night, there would be sounds coming from mikoto’s prison cell, so the matter of the time mikoto sleeps has been a hot topic among the prisoners.

(worried) "no, it's obvious isn't it?! suddenly being dragged to a place like this, being told all this weird stuff about killers and all that- is this some kind of comedy?"
(angrily screaming, mikoto's alter ego) "you keep blabbering on and on...i'm gonna fucking kill you, you piece of shit!"

a woman with sharp eyes and a cool personality. her physique is like that of a model’s. among the females in MILGRAM who are mostly laid-back characters, she is a rare case of someone who is logical and rational. she is quick-witted, and speaks up for herself. due to her appearance, behaviour and words, she may come off as cold, but her blunt attitude does not bear any ill will. It can be said that she observes MILGRAM Prison even more thoroughly than es themself, she may be gathering information for exchanges.

a rabbit that has horns. he should be a UMA (unidentified mysterious animal) from the wyoming state of america, but for some reason he is guarding the prison along with Es. aside from being a guide in MILGRAM, he also instructs es on how to perform their guard duties. he speaks human language, and has a facetious personality. however, only es seems to be able to hear his voice.

(bragging turned serious) "my name is Jackalope. look at these super cool horns. i’m not a rabbit, don’t you EVER call me one."
(explaining) "es, your job is to be the guard of MILGRAM prison. you just have to manage the prisoners. sounds easy, right? on top of that, you get three meals a day and naps, isn’t it just the best workplace?"
