Memorabilia Idol Group
Project Overview
Hi!
We are Memorabilia, a new flower-themed idol group that will be made up of 8 members! We will cover songs from Jpop/Vocaloid in English and Japanese, and also compose our own songs!
If you are looking to audition for this group, make sure you have a Discord, and please be nice and active!!
Also make sure you have a decent mic to record with!
Currently, we are looking for 6 vocalists, mixers, artists, animators, and composers!
Each vocalist of the group will voice a character that represents a flower. Here is a list of the characters that are open for auditioning and the flowers they represent:
- Star Violet (Violet)
- Noah Chrysanthemums (Chrysanthemum)
- Ray Sunflower (Sunflower)
- Reo Rose (Rose)
- Aina Sakura (Cherry blossom/Sakura)
- Young Anemone (Anemone)
A little bit of backstory: The world Memorabilia is set in is extremely monochromatic; Rarely anyone listens to/composes music, draws, or creatively expresses themselves in any way as these kinds of actions are highly discouraged by the government so that they may control the people more easily. Having grown tired of this tedious lifestyle, a group of teenagers formed Memorabilia in hopes of being able to leave enough of a memorable impact on everyone so that they may listen to and enjoy music and art once more.

The twin brother of Anae, another member of Memorabilia, 16-year-old Star is a carefree playboy that is admired by all in school. He and his sister founded Memorabilia in hopes of helping others to enjoy music the same way they do, and to leave a memorable impact on them (hence the name, Memorabilia). His aesthetically pleasing fashion sense and cheerful personality makes him one of the more popular members of the group and has won him the hearts of many girls, whether he realizes that or not.
Underneath that playboy attitude of his, however, is a passionate, strong-willed individual that will do whatever it takes to help out his group members and lead his group towards their goal.
Star has a smooth, silky voice that is mid-ranged, but can reach low notes when needed(Baritone). Additionally, his voice should also have a bit of a childish tone to it.
For your audition, it is not required to do both the Japanese and English lines, you may choose to do only one of them!

Being one of the oldest members of Memorabilia, Noah Chrysanthemums is one of the more responsible members of the group. He has a kind and optimistic personality and tries to ensure that everyone gets along well so that he doesn't have to deal with the mess left behind after fights.
Despite his age, however, he is very prone to being scared by even the most implausible of stories and always ends up having to play his cello and surround himself with his cats to calm himself down after a night of ghost stories.
Noah's voice is clear and firm, but it should also convey a tone of gentleness. His range is also one of the highest among the boys in the group (Tenor).

Like his last name suggests, Ray Sunflower is the physical embodiment of a ball of sunshine. His extremely upbeat and lively personality keeps the group motivated, but his naivety often causes him to find trouble wherever he goes. Being the youngest member of Memorabilia, Ray also looks up to the other members of the group and is extremely loyal to them all to the point where he'll listen to whatever any of them say.
His cute demeanor, however, overshadows his darker personality and the fact that he is the strongest member of the group, and so he is often underestimated(until someone makes him angry).
Ray's voice is cute and innocent, and he has one of the highest ranges out of all the boys in Memorabilia(Tenor/Countertenor).

Reo Rose is one of the wisest members of Memorabilia and has a tough and prideful attitude. However, because of this personality of his, he tends to act like a tsundere, and he often blushes in embarrassment when he makes a mistake. Additionally, he will fight you if you try to touch his glasses or bass.
Among all the members of the group, Reo has the lowest voice, and his voice is calm and snobbish(Baritone).

Aina Sakura is by far the most innocent and oblivious of Memorabilia. She tends to spend a bunch of the group's funds on cute plushies and lights(much to Reo's dismay), but because of her bubbly and cutesy personality Young usually lets her off the hook(again to Reo's dismay). She is also deathly afraid of losing the members of the group, and so she tries her best to keep everyone together.
Aina's voice is the highest in Memorabilia, and her voice conveys a tone of liveliness and innocence(Soprano).

Young Anemone is one of the oldest and most trustworthy members of Memorabilia, and she acts as the caretaker of the group. She oversees the group to ensure there's no drama and tries to get the members of the group to stop procrastinating(mainly Mira). When someone in the group is upset, she sings lullabies and plays her Gayageum to calm them down.
Young has a mid-ranged voice, and her voice is both mature and tender in tone(Mezzo-soprano).
