Memento Mori

She looks 33, but she's 233. She became immortal in 1826. She was born in 1793. She had an affair with a man because her husband stops caring for her (she and the other man kissed). Adam (her husband) found out, but they stayed married for the sake of their children. Death punishes her for making her husband and children unhappy, and Elly doesn't regret what she did. Together with another immortal, Michael, she searches for the person who made them immortal to regain their mortality. (Michael is the male main character; he is also immortal, and they work together.)

Elly is a determined woman who refuses to let anyone dictate what she can or cannot do. She doesn't get upset easily, but when she does, she doesn't hold back. She often takes risks, which is the main reason why she and Michael argue so frequently.

Note for the voice actor: This character will need to portray nearly every human emotion and also narrate. Elly has two chapters in which her past is explained, and she narrates them herself. Some scenes include fights, grunts and sounds of pain, crying, shouting, and more.

He appears to be 43, but he's 273. He became immortal in 1798. He was born in 1755. He has a beard. He fell in love with his best friend's wife and then killed him so he could be with Alice. He got her pregnant, but Death took his baby and made Michael immortal as punishment. When Alice left him ten years later the baby died, he didn't handle it well. After that, he spent years chasing Death, many times he tried to confront her to end the curse of immortality, but it didn't work. He was about to give up until he met Elly.

Michael is a serious person; he rarely laughs. He has already lived too long and only wants to regain his immortality. He takes keeping his identity hidden very seriously so that no one discovers what he and Elly are. This is one of the main reasons he fights with Elly a lot. It isn't until nearly the end of the radio drama that he begins to open up more to Elly and tells her his past.

Note for the voice actor: This character will have to portray almost every emotion a human can feel and also narrate. Michael will have two chapters that explain his past, and he will narrate them himself. Some scenes include fights, growls and sounds of pain, crying, screaming, and more.

Ales is a 36-year-old man and works as a historian in The National Museum of Funeral History in Houston, Texas. He's friends with Elly and Michael and assists in their investigation. He is very intelligent smart and doesn’t believe in faire tails. He doesn't believe Elly and Micheal when they tell him they are immortal. In the end he helps them locate the woman that made them inmortal.

Alex is a laid back and sharp minded guy. He barely gets upset easily. Always tries to help Elly and Michael whenever he can.

Note for the voice actor: This character remains mostly calm throughout the entire project. He won't require shouting or highly dramatic scenes.

Carina is an eternal being. She is Death and throughout the series she appears in the form of different animals (black cat, bat, raven, owl). These animals represent death. When she takes on her human form, she appears as a redhead with dark eyes. The only people she makes inmortal, are the ones that have been unfaithful. This is because she once fell in love with a human man who betrayed her, and ever since, she despises those who are unfaithful.

She doesn't joke around in her human form. She's tired of humans believing their actions carry no consequences. She's not kind to wicked people when they die. She also enjoys music and plays the violin.

Note for the voice actor: Out of all the character, this is the one I will be very demanding because of the final episode. Carina will narrate and voice act a wide range of human emotions. In the last episode, she becomes unhinged as she confronts the main characters, screaming, crying and deeply emotional. To better understand her essence, I also recommend reading the Poem Danse Macabre by Henri Cazalis.

Chris looks about 53, but he's actually immortal. He works as a detective for the police. Chris is investigating Elly and Michael (The two main characters), but he ends up helping them find Carina, the woman that makes people inmortal. However, he secretly works for Carrina.

Chris is stubborn and constantly chases Elly and Michael. he wants to help them, but has to do it in secret so Carina won't find out.

Note for the voice actor: This character will need to both act and narrate. Scenes will include fights, grunts and sounds of pain, shouting and more.

Emilia is a 20-year-old student at the Commonwealth Institute of Funeral Service in Houston, Texas. That school is located right next to The National Museum of Funeral History, so she spends some of her time there with Alex, a historian at the museum. She also friends with Elly and Michael (the two main characters). Emilia is Gen Z and uses a lot of slang. She may come across as unhelpful, but she's actually the smartest of the room (when she chooses to be). She thinks outside the box and finds easy solutions. She’s also the first one to believe when Elly and Michael confess they are immortal.

Emilia is very easygoing and tries to keep the peace. When she puts her foot down, she does it kindly.

Note for the voice actor: this character will mostly have calm, peaceful lines and won't require a wide emotional range. Since she's Gen Z, I'm open to suggestions for slangs that would fit her personality.

Alice is John's wife, Age 27. She cheated on John with Michael (the male main character). She eventually became pregnant with Michael's baby, but Death killed the baby as punishment for her infidelity. She also became immortal, like Elly and Michael, but she managed to regain her mortality ten years later. Michael begged her to tell him how to get his mortality back, but Alice left without giving him an answer.

Note and disclaimer for the voice actor: this character will have a somewhat big range of emotions to act. Alice will witness the death of her son, and I will need that moment to be acted. If you are not comfortable with the subject, please do not audition.

Adam is Elly's husband. Age 35. He hates Elly after she cheated on him with another man. They stayed together for the sake of their two kids. At a party, he speaks poorly of Elly, and that's when she runs away and gets turned inmortal. Adam dies not knowing she became inmortal. It's only towards the end of the series when he forgives Elly.

Note for the voice actor: this character will mostly speak in an angry manner, as he is deeply resentful toward Elly.
