Picking this cast wasn't easy at all, and thus I had to have help from other project creators. But we have reached our final decision.
Melty Blood - English Fandub
Project Overview
A fandub of the game Melty Blood Actress Again Current Code. Despite the title, it's not anything gory. Though the story does involve Vampires...but like I said, nothing gory.
Developed by Type-Moon, French Bread, Ecole Software and published by SEGA, Melty Blood is another Japanese fighter. But what makes it different from others...? The colourful roster of characters!
Some of these characters have been given English voices, more specifically the ones who appeared in the Tsukihime anime. However, you do not have to sound like the VA's.
Our objective is to deliver a English fandub that the audience and fans of the Melty Blood series can appreciate.

I may be able to listen to the auditions while I'm away, and I may not.

No set date. I'll be focusing on it throughout the rest of summer and early autumn. After that, we'll work on it till it's finished.

Most likely 2 - 3 weeks. A month if it's a long script. However that can be arranged with VA's.
Final Note - Eltnum's VA will be voicing Sion...as they are the same character.

Anime VA - Steve Staley
Shiki is a fairly normal high school student most of the time. Due to his close brush with death, he is not overly concerned about dying, and instead seeks to cherish every moment of his life - 'just living is enough' is his perspective on life. He is playful with his sister Akiha and the maids Hisui and Kohaku, sometimes silly, and not at all above exchanging jibes with his best friend and classmate Arihiko Inui or pleasantries with his senior Ciel. He's entirely capable of being serious in a serious situation, and just as often flustered or embarrassed. His personality is one of that who is slightly mean to those he loves. He is also a very, very heavy sleeper, to such a point that Hisui is unable to awaken him.
(serious tone) …A vampire appearing in town at night, huh…? It’s still just a rumour, but I need to do something before any victims appear.
(tired out after the battle, slightly flustered) That was close…Are you sure you haven’t been secretly training, Akiha? You’re getting way creepier by the day…
casual, with a pleasant/happy tone) [Arcueid is pronounced as Arc – idd]I wonder if Arcueid is coming…We promised to meet up here, but she hasn’t been showing up lately...

Anime VA – Michelle Ruff
Arcueid is shown to be a whimsical individual who, although knowing the basics of the modern era, does not seem to know about social norms. Both Nasu and Takeuchi think of her "image color" as white because she is pure in terms of appearance and personality. Once, she shows up at Shiki's school and waves to him from the school rear courtyard, luckily for Shiki only Ciel spots her. Her behaviour is almost childlike, due to the lonely nature of her upbringing, although she is over 800 years old, she spent most of it asleep and knows nearly nothing about the world or how to interact with others. As she works together with Shiki to stop Roa, she gradually begins to enjoy life and starts to like Shiki as more than just a friend.
(happy, pleasant tone) Ahh, the moon sure is beautiful tonight! Flower viewing at midnight has it’s own beauty. If only Shiki were here to witness this pretty sight…
(calmly annoyed) I want to fight the real you next time. Not so fake…but, I guess you’ve got guts to appear in MY garden….
(victory quotes, happy) Not bad, Len! I underestimated you….(shocked) what?! You were just copying me? (worried) That’s odd, I’ve never acted that violently before…

Anime VA – Julie Ann Taylor
Akiha is very protective of her brother. She is always intent on knowing what he does with his day, and is extremely suspicious of what he does at night. She gets incredibly jealous when he is around other girls. The constant supervision by his little sister sometimes bears hard on Shiki, but she only watches over him because she worries so much about him. Despite her general peevishness, she really is a sweet girl at heart. She plays the violin in her spare time.
(serious) I’m very sorry…I would love to take up your offer, but it appears that there is something I have to do first.
(confused) That Vampire….it looked like she was created from shadow, but I feel like I’ve met her before…? How strange, my memory is fuzzy…
(happy) That was enjoyable. If there is a next time, I will make sure to fight you again!

Anime VA – Wendee Lee
Ciel displays two vastly different personalities depending on her current role, that of the kind, calm, friendly, and peaceful upperclassmen and that of the cold member of the Burial Agency. While she tries to act as if it is only a disguise in order to find out if Shiki is Roa's reincarnation, her gentle self can be called the "real" Ciel, but they are both real in a way.
While acting as a senior at Shiki's school, she is the president and only member of the tea ceremony club. Everybody at school considers her a person of integrity even more reliable than the teachers.She comes to become good friends with Arihiko Inui, Satsuki Yumizuka, and Shiki. When not investigating Shiki, she likes to go to class, where she sits in the back out of everyone else's view and enjoys listening to the teacher. She runs through the hall helping people out, and likes doing things like fixing the broken fence outside. She has tricked the teachers into letting her have the tea ceremony room, even making them give her a budget so that she can eat as much candy as she would like. Relaxing there and drinking tea in the afternoon is important to her.
While acting as a member of the Church, she is very serious and willing to do whatever it takes to get her tasks done. She wishes to settle her own vendetta with Roa and remove her immortality. She attempts to remain cold and calculating when focusing on completing her job of hunting him down, but her interactions with Shiki make it hard for her. There is only one person to whom she wants to show her merciful side, that being Shiki
(serious) Waves of magical energy ae converging! To think that great magic of this scale could occur even without a magic circle or catalyst…Has one of the Twenty Seven Dead Apostle Ancestors reappeared…?
(happy, upbeat tone) And right after I say that, Tohno-kun’s shadow shows up….He really is such a sweet person. I just hope he doesn’t fail and get captured by a Dead Apostle…
(shocked, horrified) A Marble Phantasm has materialized…?! No… this isn’t some kind of illusion….this really is the world after it is destroyed.

Anime VA – Kate Higgans
Hisui is one of the five heroines of Tsukihime. She is the younger of the two twin maids in the Tohno mansion.
Hisui appears as a stern young woman, but actually she is a kind, loving and emotional girl, hiding her emotions to keep her sister as she is, due to the incident with Makihisa. Seeing Kohaku acting happy as Hisui was as a young girl, she cannot bring herself to return to her former self. Even if Kohaku is simply acting out her old role, she seems to have attained some level of happiness.
(confused, worried) But…why would Ciel-sama come here of all places…?
(shy, embarrassed) Oh, it appears I won…but, I feel a little embarrassed winning…it’s ok for e to win, right?
(worried) Akiha-sama’s condition does seem strange. Your deductions do occasionally seem to pay off.

Anime VA - Kari Wahlgren
Kohaku is one of the five heroines of Tsukihime. She is the older of the two twin maids in the Tohno mansion.
Kohaku is always seen to be smiling and cheerful, being especially gifted with medicine which she learned from Jinan Sougen. She has a habit of breaking many (and valuable) objects when cleaning indoors. Though she always states that it was not intended, some characters, like Akiha, seems to think otherwise.
(happy, welcoming) Welcome home. Akiha-sama! You must be very tired from your meeting at the academy.
(happy) It sure looks that way! Jeez, they’re both in poor health, but they keep pushing themselves!
(exasperated) S-Sure!, I got irritated after getting stuck behind the tenth red light in a row and made a quick 180….ut it was supposed to be a shortcut!

Anime VA – Karen Strassman
She is described to be an extremely strong person in terms of personality, regretting nothing in her life because she follows through on every decision she makes. Because she does not care at all about what other people think of her, she is able to stay true to herself in any situation, believing that the worst thing a person can do is to lie to oneself. Even while accepting her life as a magus, she stubbornly sticks to the life of an honest person.
(serious) So what are you doing in a place like this? The human world is much more dangerous than your world, you know?
(relaxed, casual) It’s even materialising Shiki’s shadow. It feels weird fighting creatures with human forms, buuuuuut I guess it’s good I won’t get into trouble for it later.
(sad) You look so gloomy. (happy) Why not come with me? Crossing the Seven Seas as we please…Your worries will all fade away just like that!

Anime VA - Carrie Savage
She has an unrequited crush on Shiki, who only sees her as another classmate. She plays somewhat different roles in the game and the anime. In the game, she is shy and has somewhat of an inferiority complex while she is more outgoing in the anime. She is also quite popular between her classmates, but she does not seem to care about it.
Due to her lack of a route in the original game, she is often made fun of in comedic segments, and she is especially tormented by Neco-Arc
(worried) Oh no, Sion’s gone! I think…she was worried about my safety and decided to go into town without me, to see what was happening.
(sad, worried) I’m….getting stronger…I wonder if I’m going to be a real vampire at his rate…
(happy) Back Alley Alliance arriving on the scene! We demand all who disturb the peace of night to return from whence they came!

English VA - Jamieson Price
Nrvnqsr Chaos (real name Fabro Rowan) is the tenth of The Twenty-seven Dead Apostle Ancestors. He is a living mass of chaotic matter analogous to a primordial soup, created from the accumulation of the lives of 666 creatures.
During his lifetime, Fabro Rowan had a rather serious and experimentive personality. However, after merging his body with various other beasts, his mind slowly began to resemble that of the beasts that he was now made of, thus corrupting him and turning him into the bloodthirsty Nrvnqsr Chaos. As the current Nrvnqsr Chaos, he is rather arrogant and considers ordinary humans, such as Shiki before displaying the Mystic Eyes of Death Perception, as creatures inferior to himself. While attempting to devour Shiki, he declares that he is a fastidious person, so he won't even leave a single cell behind. He begins to laugh while taunting Shiki to stop being so stubborn and just break down
(serious tone) Oh, so this is what they call a ‘major upset?’
(cruel voice) After all, this is the last time you'll ever receive any recognition for the work you do.
(serious tone) This is usually where he would show up. Is this your doing? Are you protecting your master?

Michael Roa Valdamjong

Anime VA - Kirk Thornton
Michael Roa Valdamjong is the main antagonist of the Near-Side Moon routes of Tsukihime. He is a vampire and a numberless Dead Apostle Ancestor ranked as "Extra" outside of the regular twenty-seven because they consider him to be a heretic who does not uphold the ideals of regular vampires. He is called The Serpent of Akasha and The Infinite Reincarnator, which refers to his ability to constantly reincarnate after entering Akasha, the root of everything within the universe, no matter how many times he dies. His seventeenth incarnation is known as Elesia, and his eighteenth incarnation, SHIKI Tohno is his latest as of the time period of Tsukihime.
Roa was popular as a virtuous man when he was a priest up until his betrayal. He seems to have great dislike for the Church, commenting that the already ruined Church has degraded even further in eight hundred years, but also says the existence of a woman like Riesbyfe makes it not quite as bad. He had some form of a close relationship with Nabareck, as, while she did not want to leave the Church or live with Roa, she was willing to pass on the information to her child to ignore a newcomer Dead Apostle in one hundred years.
(sadistic) It’s an obvious concept ,though. The weak will be stamped out by the strong!
(shocked, angry) What?! Not only was that young girl part of that Back Alley thing, but you are too>! I’ll have to go all out!
(surprised) Oh, I didn't expect the little girl to arrive…still alive I see.

Shiki Ryougi

An androgynous voice, though lean slightly more to the feminine side.
Children born into the Ryougi family are generally male and are artificially induced with dual personalities, but Kaname was unable to manifest a second personality of his own. Shiki was confirmed to display the trait instead and was raised as the family head in his place, displaying the personalities of SHIKI, a male personality customarily called the "yang" personality, and Shiki, the female personality called the "yin" personality.
It is not the result of Dissociative Identity Disorder even though it is a dual personality, so it is more a matter of whose actions take priority. It is easy to tell which Shiki is speaking at a given time because they both have a distinct style of speaking, most notably that the female Shiki speaks politely and with reserve, referring to herself with the gender-neutral pronoun watashi, while the male persona has a brash personality and refers to herself with the masculine pronoun ore. The two personalities could not communicate to each other but they can both understand what the other is feeling. When one comes out it is like the other goes to sleep, and at the moment they switch they feel each other’s desires.
(complaining due to the heat) Ugh, I didn't sleep well because of the heat…Even for a heavy sleeper like me, this night has got to be the hottest of the year.
(victory quote, mocking voice) I love a good fight, but you guys aren’t even a challenge. I feel like I’d get dragged down to your level. That’s kind of an issue, as a person, don’t you think?
(exasperated) A….vampire? It’s one outrageous thing after another…I always seem to get dragged into these things, don’t I?

Riesbyfe Stridberg

Riesbyfe is the leader of the knight's heresy persecution group and an official Shield Knight vampire hunter from the Church.
Three years before Melty Blood, the Church learned that the next appearance of TATARI took place in a small mountain village in Italy. The Church sought the aid of Atlas due to their connection to TATARI rather than the Prague alchemists, and Sion Eltnam Atlasia responded to their request. Riesbyfe Stridberg, along with Sion, intervened when TATARI appeared, but as they only had normal Conceptual Weapons, they were unable to affect the phenomenon no matter how many times they defeated its materializations. Three days later, TATARI annihilated the village and the dispatched Knights of the Church, and destroyed those who permeated it. Riesbyfe sacrificed herself to save Sion from one of the materializations of the Night of Wallachia.
But Riesbyfe still lived within TATARI, being protected from being completely absorbed by TATARI by her Holy Shield, Gamaliel. Michael Roa Valdamjong, or rather an materialization of TATARI based on him, notes in Riesbyfe's Story Mode in Melty Blood Actress Again she is "alive", making her a TATARI materialization different from the others like himself.
(serious) I recognise this voice….Yes, I’m starting to remember now…I’m back to my old clumsy self, not having to think too much…
(annoyed) There’s no such sound as silence. If there was, it would be nothing more than an incarnation of death…You may have been the embodiment of that.
(powerful voice) Here stands the guardian messenger. Know the glory of my master through the two gospels that have been bestowed upon me. (calmer tone) Hmmm, I guess that does it for my victory speech.

Miyako is a cousin of Shiki, as well as his other step sister.
Although she tries to look strong, Miyako is actually quite shy, especially around Shiki. One of the routes in Melty Blood story mode shows that Miyako has a hard time saying anything to Shiki. Because of her frowning reticence, Shiki mistakenly assumes that Miyako is always angry at him for some reason.
(confused) Hm, there’s no milk in the mailbox…That’s strange…am I…too early?
(powerful tone) How’s that? I got rid of the Evil Queen!
(determined) No, no, I need to train harder. Onii-chan will never praise me at this rate.

Kouma Kishima

Kouma is the man who eliminated the Nanaya clan under orders of Makihisa Tohno. He is a member of the Kishima clan, a clan which is a sub-family of the Tohnos but with much stronger demon blood running through them.
Kouma himself, however, is a tranquil character, similar to a mountain ascetic aiming for enlightenment in order to find meaning in his own existence. As the Kishima have fallen into decline, Kouma would have been fine if he just quietly faded into obscurity in his forest den, letting the line die out for good.
(serious tone) Summoning me here has quite the price to pay. It’s often the case that the one that needs a demon, ends up eaten by the demon.
(soft voice) Cherry blossoms in the summer, huh? A stage befitting for vampires to walk in broad daylight.
(serious tone) I am the one who remains, this time. This world is a village of fleeting life. The same outcomes from it are not possible.

Night of Wallachia is the thirteenth of The Twenty-seven Dead Apostle Ancestors and the ancestor of Sion Eltnam Atlasia. He is very different from other Dead Apostles, as he cannot actually be said to currently exist. His nature is that of a phenomenon known as TATAR, derived from Japan's etymology for the word "curse", a recurring event that grants physical shape to the fears and rumours that circulate within a community. He is the main villain of Melty Blood and his Reality Marble TATARI is central to the Melty Blood series.
(happy, with a creepy edge) It’s been five hundred years since I became part of the audience. I shall enjoy seeing how great of an actor these people are, who have taken my place and now control the script.
(casual, laid back) It’s time for the opening act. Actors who have failed and fallen once have no more chance to be up on stage. Stay down there and wait for the next stage that will never come.
(crazy) Loop, loop, loop, loooploooplooploooploop~! Let the lamentations rise and save the life of the undying flower! Kook at the reality if fiction, where you fall on your head at the end of an epic journey!

Shiki Nanaya

Shiki Nanaya is an alternate version of Shiki Tohno created from his subconscious and given form in a number of different ways throughout the Tsukihime storyline.
Nanaya is always calm and composed, and he is prone to making sarcastic and witty comments. He is fixated on death and killing, and the mere prospect of it brings him the utmost joy. He calls his body a guiding principle that Shiki refuses to use in his objections to becoming a killer. He is originally just something that kills whoever summons him, but he later develops an attachment to existing. He mentions having been sleeping when he did not exist, and that there were people to play with on the "other side", though he could not kill them because they were all dead people. Although obsessed with killing, he displays somewhat normal interactions with people like Miyako Arima and Hisui.
(casual tone) Hey, what gives? I hear things, but I can’t see anything. The night’s only just begun, but there’s not a single person around in town…
(happy, sinister tone) I have to thank you. I’m about to go exterminate a demon. Don’t you think it’s a good omen that I was able to dismember a vampire first?
(serious tone) She’s unconscious…what a bother. My current master reminded me not to get involved with girls. It’ll be a pain, but I guess I’ll let her go home.

Len is the main heroine in the main story of Kagetsu Tohya. She is capable of shifting between the forms of a black cat and an early teen human girl
She doesn't speak often, only once briefly in a scene of Kagetsu Tohya and during her interaction with White Len in Melty Blood Re-ACT. She seems to have a liking for cakes, and she dislikes taking baths.
Because she never talks, it's hard to really understand her personality, but basically she's the type of person that likes to quietly spend her time alone. Just like a cat, she is haughty and fickle, but prone to sudden bursts of attention-seeking craziness as well.
(emotionless) You’re the one in danger, Shiki.

White Len

White Len is a character from the Melty Blood games in which she possessed her own 'mini-storyline' in the arcade mode. She is the main villain of Melty Blood Re-ACT. She looks almost identical to Len, except her dress and ornaments, which are white, and her hair which is light gray. She is also white in her cat form.
White Len is acting as a more selfish and outspoken version of Len. She carries a huge amount of pride, believing herself to be better than her counterpart, Len because of her acceptance of their personality. And she also prefers to act like a calm lady, that is speaking in metaphors about fairy tales. White Len also goes out of her way to prove her superiority over Len by gaining her own Master, Shiki Nanaya. Despite her prideful ways, she will respect those who she believes they are worthy of her respect, such as Satsuki Yumizuka. Though she isn't an official member of the Back alley alliance, White Len occasionally stops by for a visit.
However, whenever she gets embarrassed, she becomes much more brash and immature, a side that Nanaya regularly provokes her to bring out. Neko-Arc very accurately calls her a tsundere when she shows her more vulnerable side.
She LOVES strawberry shortcake.
(worried) Nanaya! Hey, Nanaya! Don’t things feel a bit strange outside? There’s this terrible noise, like an hourglass is-
(angry) Idiot! That HUGE idiot! What an impossibly stupid, unbelievable, unforgivable idiot!
(annoyed) What’s the big deal, getting in my wa- eh? (serious) It’s dangerous so don’t go? I’ll only regret it later? …(annoyed) It’s none of your business. Just make sure you go and protect that ,master of yours.

Mech-Hisui

Mech-Hisui was created by Kohaku as a the ultimate weapon in her "Tohno House Subjugation Plan" in the "G." and "Oh my sister!" routes of Melty Blood. Though normally portrayed as a schemer, it was only after becoming TATARI during the Hologram Summer that Kohaku gained the capability to create robots in the "Tohno Group Weapons Division" under her "Magical Amber" persona. Mech-Hisui was completed during the single night along with Kohaku's various inventions due to Miyako Arima viewing Kohaku in such a way.
Mech-Hisui has little personality at first, only voicing brief orders and programs to execute. She gains more of a personality in subsequent games, jesting against opponents and acting out against her creator. She refers to Kohaku as "Doctor."
(emotionless) Though I was asked to guard the GCV, it seems no enemies will appear anytime soon.
(annoyed) Another groundless protest, unemployed cat? I understand if you simply don’t want to do any work, but you could serve as a shield.
(slightly angry) To have one auto ….one maid per household…To make that ideal become reality. I propose that you review your own protocols and chain or command.

Dust of Osiris is a potential future version of Sion Eltnam Atlasia created from remnants of TATARI. She is the Thirteenth of The Twenty-seven Dead Apostle Ancestors after succeeding the Night of Wallachia. She is the main villain of Melty Blood Actress Again.
Osiris claims to lack emotions and ego, believing them to be what destroyed humanity, generally referring to everything with specific calculations, recalculations, and possible mental burdens as "processing slowdown." She only speaks to certain individuals that she encounters, and otherwise she simply continues with her calculations in a robotic fashion while preparing to destroy the intrusion. She believes she is the discarded human husk of Sion that was taken in by TATARI, and later developed into the "giant of Atlas", who differs than the vampiric remains of the real Sion who "degenerated towards humanity" and Sion TATARI who "degenerated into a demon." She believes the original Sion also seeks the same conclusion, as they split from the same person. She is surprised to find that Sion's interactions with Shiki have changed her and allowed her to see hope in the future.
(serious) If we are both the same then you should know without me having to say it.
(serious) I see. As foolish as it is, I will not argue the matter. I will simply end your life, Sion.
(serious) Dust of Osiris will carry out its function in ten minutes. I won’t even need Barrel Replica’s assistance to deal with a remnant like you.
