Project Overview
What's This?
Mellorism is a Toram Online fan project created for the 2022-2023 fanime weekly challenge (a game jam but for animators), but the project turned had become more ambitious in scope. It exited the weekly format and is now being worked on more seriously, with episodes coming out within months of each other.
So far, I've created 9 episodes with the help of my voice actor friends! I originally planned to have only ten in total, but would love to add 3 more episodes for season 1 (~13 episodes in total).
For now, I'm looking for people to voice supporting & extra roles for:
Episode Snowberry (9.5),
and potentially in season 2.
More roles will be introduced in the future!
Synopsis
A socially anxious girl, Sariu, wants to weave her way back into society after a traumatic event. As her first stepping stone, she logs onto a game world to learn how to interact with others. It's not real life, so it should be easier... right?

What To Do
Record 2 takes per line! In AABBCC format.
Please submit clean voice recordings. You don't need the best mic quality to audition, but I need to be able to hear your voice in all its glory.
Feel free to filter out background noises, or compress and equalize your audio.

Other Important Notes
The main characters' voice roles have already been filled out. I do NOT plan on replacing them.
No hate & no discrimination, or a recast will be in order! I only recruit those who get along well with me and my team.
I will NOT use AI in any stage of this project. I am an animator & artist. I know the struggle and despise the slop. I'd like to work with others with the same mindset as mine.
This may be a fan project, but all of the characters shown here are original. The idea is that they're all playing the same MMO, and created their own avatars to reflect their ideal selves.
Sometimes, the story focuses on the characters' real lives rather than their in-game avatars. I will indicate if so, as they take a more realistic approach / direction in voice acting than their avatar counterparts.
I am a solo animator, and it takes a lot of time to upload new, quality stuff. Please be very patient with me.

Voice Actor
[Name pronounced as: "so-LAY" as in French word for "sun"]
Supporting character. Soleil cameos in Episode 9.5 (~10 lines), and becomes a major character in Mellorism season 2 (line count TBD).
Humble, radiant, and always knows what to say. Likes dad jokes. Formerly a well-known guide creator and guild leader, his star reputation still follows him wherever he goes. His former guildmates still feel his influence to this day.
Coincidentally, he joins Sariu's guild, meets long lost friends, and is welcomed a while... until he tries to poach them.
Important Notes:
This is a long term role.
He is an adult outside of the game, with a day job as a teacher. Please keep your voice acting somewhat grounded. As charismatic & full of dad jokes as he is, even his avatar self would carry an air of maturity when it matters.
The main character may sometimes see him as an opposing force. To her, his careful wording can be subtly threatening...

(In a rush, nervously downplaying the horror) "We think she's DEAD! Okay, nice talking. Good luck, champ!"
Voice Actor
Extra role in Episode 9.5. He is only spoken to on the phone.
Important Notes:
He is a character in the real world. Please aim for realistic voice acting.
Gruff middle-aged man voice. Imagine someone stuck in middle management and having to deal with that until retirement. You'd hate it too.
He only has two lines.

Voice Actor
Extra role. A solo player that talks to the protagonists in Episode 9.5. This character has only two lines.
Can be any accent, any gender. I can change the design of the character depending on the voice.

Very short term role.
An avatar in the game! And really doesn't know what's going on.
