Project Overview
In the year 20XX, the real world and cyber world are woven tightly together. Beings known as net navi's aiding society, be it basic tasks, security, emotional support... Or net battling, a popular sport. However, for Lan Hikari he was given a special net navi... a net navi with a powerful secret and abilities like no other. However, Megaman's secret is known by one... WWW, the net terror syndicate, ready to cause chaos to the world around them and change life as they know it.

Yuichiro Hikari, is a cybergenecist working for Sci-Labs. He's the son of Dr. Tadashi Hikari and father to Lan and Hub Hikari. After the death of Hub at a very young age, Yuichiro came up with a way to keep him alive via transferring his consciousness into Hub. Yuichiro is a very caring, dedicated father who does everything in his power to be involved with his sons' lives... But he's also quite tied into work and will overdo it sometimes. His wife is the love of his life. With this interpretation he's very close with his own net Navi, Zero viewing him as a brother rather than just a personal assistant. We would prefer a voice similar to the dub voice they've given him in the NT Warrior/NT Warrior Axess anime.
“Zero, run diagnostic protocol and read back to me the reports.” (Serious, focused on his work)
“D-Do you remember me, Hub?” (Worried, on the verge of happy tears)
“After dinner I’ll program the navi into your PET. But I can’t do that when I’m hungry. Don’t want me to mess up your set up, right?” (Light teasing)
Zero.exe is a veteran navi from SciLabs, created when Yuichiro was rather young. He's seen a number of years combating viruses and rogue net navi's on the internet, along with aiding in keeping Yuichiro out of trouble. With time, he's retired from netbattling but that hasn't stopped him from training. Nowadays he's content to train Megaman.exe and act as a surrogate parent to him in Yuichiro's stead. When Hub died, it broke his heart to see Yuichiro be so upset.
Much like his other counterparts, Zero has his temper, but is also always ready for a battle and is a very calm individual over all. It takes a lot to rattle him. (This one, is a bit more open to interpretation, since there are a lot of variations on how Zero is played.)
“Diagnostic results: vitals stable, core data formed, frame complete, DNA and memory of Hub Hikari accepted. Experiment was a complete success, Yuichiro. You did it.” (Clinical/relieved)
“Hey, it’s okay. I’m not going to hurt you. My name is Zero. I’m your father’s net navi.” (Gentle, trying to be reassuring)
“Nicely done, Megaman. You’re getting better with your close combat.” (Proud)
His life began as Hub Hikari, before a sickness known as HBD ended his life when he was around a year old. Hub was the older twin to Lan and when he passed, it was devastating to his family. Luckily his consciousness was transferred into the framework of a net navi to allow him to live. Hub grew up using the alias Megaman.exe in order to keep his family out of trouble and to avoid Lan worrying about using him in battles. Megaman is a very sweet kid, can be sarcastic when he wants to be and sassy too, but has a good heart overall. He's always trying to do the right thing and defending those who can't defend themselves. He's also very, VERY protective (sometimes to a fault) of Lan and trying to keep him from going overboard. He was trained under Zero in this timeline. At the current point in time, Megaman and Lan are 14 years old. (Would prefer a voice similar to the dub voice of NT Warrior's Megaman. A motivating older brother kind of tone)
"I'll always have your back Lan! That's a promise." (Confident, proud)
"Good morning, care to rejoin the living?" (Teasing)
“Just glad Lan didn’t get hurt… I don’t think I’d forgive myself if… y’know.” (Worried)
Haruka Hikari, is the proud wife of Yuichiro and mother to Hub and Lan. She met Yuichiro when they were in college and fell in love over time. When they got married, Yuichiro programmed her a special net navi named Airisu. Together, the two hold the Hikari house together both in the real world and cyber world. After Hub's death, Haruka was inconsolable and wasn't handling things very well. When Yuichiro promised to bring him back, she was unsure at first if they were doing the right thing... Having her son back, she's found that yes, it was all worth it in the end. She's a very confident person, who is very proud of her boys... If not overly protective sometime. However... mess with her family, you pay severely. (Would also prefer a similar voice to the one Haruka had in the dub of the anime)
“Oh, that’s wonderful sweetie! Looks like your study sessions with Airisu have all paid off.” (Proud)
“Both my babies… I finally have you both back.” (On the verge of happy tears)
“Like father, like son. If he likes it, I like it.” (Amused)
Airisu was programmed by Yuichiro as a wedding gift to his wife. Airisu was not made to be a combat focused net navi, more so a caretaker and a personal assistant for Haruka. She can fight... you just don't want her to because she doesn't fight fair when she does. She had been overjoyed to find out her netop was going to be a mother and was at a loss herself, when things went so wrong.... When Megaman was brought home as his new self, she appointed herself as a second mother to him. While Haruka will always be his true mother, Airisu also does her best to act as a surrogate mother. She's very close to both of the boys... and is very proud of her husband, Zero. (Like with Zero, there's some wiggle room here since she's based off Iris from the X games)
“Knew I could whip you into shape… Though can’t take all the credit.” (Little sassy, but going into a gentle tone)
"I'll keep an eye on him. If you hear screaming, it's nothing to be concerned about." (Joking)
“Any damaged data? Broken main frame? Cyber burns?” (Panicked Motherly fretting)
Lan is, to his personal knowledge the only child of Yuichiro and Haruka. He's a smart kid, with a tendency to be lazy about his schoolwork. He has good intentions and he is smart, he's just not very good with keeping up. He has a good heart through and through and wants to be like his father when he's older. Right now though, his dream is to be the netbattling champion. He will be the first to admit, his life wouldn't be the same without his net navi helping him keep things together. He and Megaman are best friends... and little does he know, family. At 14 years old, he's attending AC/DC high with his friends and just trying to survive school. (If you can emulate his voice from the dub or have something similar that would be wonderful)
"Jack in! Megaman, power up!" (Excited/determined)
“Sure thing! We haven’t hung out as a group in awhile, so why not? Maybe we could have a battle royale with our navi’s.” (Scheming/sneaky)
"“Megaman you are NOT helping! And stop listening to Zero’s old stories anyways!” (Embarrassed/stammering a little)
