McWorld (Animated Web-Series)

McWorld (Animated Web-Series)

Project Overview

McWorld is the title for an upcoming animated YouTube web-series, following the adventures of the worlds only Human, McMan. After a war between the three food gods, The Clown, The King, and The Colonel, The Colonel was victorious. The Clown became so furious, he stole the powers of both gods, and wiped out all of humanity. But what he didn’t know, is that the attack replaced everyone with anthropomorphic food people!
Now The Clown wants to destroy them, too. But one human survived. McMan. It’s his mission, to go on a journey throughout the McWorld, making friends and enemies along the way, to put an end to the foolish acts of The Clown! Only his own actions will decide whether he’ll succeed, but your animation, art, and contribution can help the adventure begin!

More Voice acting roles soon!

Attention: These roles are mainly for the pilot. The rest of the series will be a very long project, so sticking with the project until the end is entirely up to you. Please note this project is also unpaid, so only audition if you’re okay with that.

UPDATE 1: The deadline has been extended to September 20 due to a lack of auditions. Audition soon!

Narrator

The Narrator should have a deep voice, similar to the one of an announcer’s. If you’re unsure whether you’re fit for the role, try comparing your voice to the Pokémon narrator. The closer you sound to him, the better you fit the role!

The Narrator will explain the backstory in the pilot episode, and after that, he will talk during the beginning and the end in each episode.

  • Previously, on Adventures in McWorld!

  • Will our heroes make it? Or will they disappoint the entire village? Tune in next time to find out!

  • Long ago, lived Three Food Gods; The Clown. The King. and The Colonel.

McMan is the protagonist of the series. He should have a tired, annoyed tone, but seem calm and friendly at times. Although he seems fed up with everything all the time, he can get serious/deep when he needs to be.

After waking up in a forest, filled with talking, walking foods, he learns about his heroic mission that he was destined to go on. Although he was surprised and confused at first, he grows to accept his journey, becoming less of a jerk as the series progresses.

  • Wait, WHAAAAT?? Okay, well first of all, This is a dream, and obviously I’m hungry. Second of all, PLEASE EXPLAIN THIS TO ME!?

  • Ughh, listen up, pisspants. I’m just trying to move along and accomplish this whole hero thing.

  • I mean.. I understand, totally. But is this the route you wanna go down? This doesn’t really help you, or anyone else. Maybe I could help you? Be your friend, maybe.

An older Male Character, who should have a stern, rough voice. The voice should sound like a wannabe badass, but mainly just a plain old tough guy.

The leader of the fruits, in fruit forest. Orange chooses to follow and help out with McMan’s Journey from the very beginning. He doesn’t have too much depth or character development, but he’s a tough, cool dude who prefers to kick ass whenever he can.

  • Hey, I told everyone to stay back, and do NOT approach the McMan. Alright?

  • Well, I guess I’m kind of a born leader, heh. I’m always here for advice when you need me.

  • Listen, I understand that you wanna move forward, but even though I’m a pretty busy leader, I’m also your friend now. That means I can advise you not to rush into things like this so quickly. Got it?

PanBot is a friendly robot, initially created to destroy McMan and the residents, but struggles with confusing lessons from both his evil creator, and his new friend McMan.

Please do not use a robot type voice. His voice should be quirky and and a little goofy. Make sure to include a voice crack in his laugh! If you’re not sure how to do his voice good enough, try to do one similar to Darrell’s from OK K.O.

  • BWEYAHAHAHA! HECK YEAH, YOU BETTER RUN! BEWARE OF MY ULTIMATE FRYING POWERS!! BWAHAHA-Oh, hey. I’m supposed to kill you, right?

  • Huh..? [Confused] Y’know, i’m not entirely sure why I was ordered to get rid of you. I’m looking forward to our next ‘battle’, hahah! Later, McMan!

Lemon has a shy, nervous voice, and she’s a bit paranoid. She also stutters a lot, making her seem like your ideal nervous waifu.

She becomes a villain later on in the series, so that ONLY applies if you’re sticking with us for the whole series.

  • Wh-why do you care...? I mean, I don’t know much..j-just don’t bother me, alright..?

The voice should be loud, annoying, sarcastic and high pitched. For voice reference, try to replicate Viridi from Kid Icarus. Although the character is genderless, the voice actor still needs to be female.

A hyper and annoying little brat with mysterious powers to discover. Starting off as a minor character, They often travel throughout the McWorld, been spotted by McMan and his friends throughout the main adventure. Parts of episodes sometimes focus mainly on them. They may be an inconvenience most of the time, but they have an intriguing backstory waiting to be told.

  • UGGGGH. Listen, DAD. I don’t know what your deal is, but I just wanna have fun. Leave me alone and go back to your cliche little heroic quest you have.

  • WHERE IS THE STRINGDOODLE?? I’m STAAARVIIING. Whatever, I’ll just eat some leftovers.

  • Woah! Did you see that? Who knew I was like, a superhero or something? This is so COOL!! Hey, hey, look at this!

For this role, you need a YouTube account, and the ability to post the series, or at least the pilot, to your channel. If you don’t want it on your main channel, you could create a channel mainly for the series, IF you want. It also helps if we can trust you, so we know you won’t steal the pilot and call it your own.
