MATCHUP GAIDEN - Superman VS Doctor Doom (First episode)
Project Overview
Matchup Gaiden is a Versus series, similar to DEATH BATTLE, but with more of a focus on narrative analysis, and fights presented in a sort of audio drama/visual novel esque format. The first episode will be Superman from DC Comics VS Doctor Doom from Marvel Comics. The final video will be posted to the Galaxy Video YouTube channel, and you can also contact me via Twitter/X (@rexnadela). DC Comics' Superman himself. The superhero. Numerous portrayals out there to pull inspiration from, like George Reeves, Christopher Reeve, Tim Daly, George Newbern, Henry Cavill, or anything you think fits the character

Marvel Comics' top villain, ruler of Latveria, and menace to the Fantastic Four especially. A Romani accent is a definite plus if you can pull it off. There are movie, cartoon, and even video game portrayals like Marvel VS CAPCOM to base off of, but this can also be pretty variable.

Superman's arch-nemesis, super scientist, billionaire, and bald. Clancy Brown is my favorite Lex Luthor voice, but Gene Hackman, Michael Rosenbaum, and other portrayals are also good inspiration, or, again, go with what you think fits.
