Introduction:
Wake the Will is a webcomic series on Webtoon. I write and illustrate for the story. This is an ongoing project that I am doing for fun as a hobby, as the general idea for a card game-based series has seen numerous drafts over the years. With this, I'm telling the final, definitive version of the story I always wanted to tell.
-Summary taken directly from the Webtoon series hub: "To avoid the harsh reality that is life, individuals escape into a virtual reality game based around a trading card game named Wake the Will. One girl enters this world in order to set things right and stand against this false utopia. However, her plans derail, as she immediately encounters a boy around her age, whom is one of many that has given up on life."
What's going into the project:
-I am looking for one voice actor to play this major character in the story!
-This will be a video posted to my YouTube channel, where we will be dubbing over shots of each panel from the webcomic. I'm looking to put my own voice work out there in a unique way, with your voice work joining it.
-We're planning to do every episode of the Wake the Will Webtoon. The Webtoon currently has 30 episodes released, with the 34th in production.

This story focuses around players in a VR game playing a trading card game with each other. Players will dramatically play out and announce their moves, as done in Yu-Gi-Oh!, Cardfight!! Major Role: (Age 25) Moto is a formidable, passionate player in the world of Wake the Will. He is inflicted with some sort of strange ailment that occasionally causes him pain, despite being in a VR world where players cannot feel pain. He also constantly pushes himself forward, for one day he seeks one final great battle, as he periodically exclaims.
Personality: Moto is loud and proud. He is very arrogant and somewhat selfish. However, he does respect those that he sees as formidable opponents. He puts down those that he does not see as worthy. When he plays Wake the Will, he's boastful and full of passion, almost sounding like he's preaching as he makes his moves.
Voice: I'm looking for someone that can really project and speak with passion. Be as competitive as you possibly can. Kaiba from Yu-Gi-Oh! is a good reference for the kind of arrogance and competitive nature I'm looking for. He's also a good reference for making your moves sound like you're preaching to an audience.
