Project Overview

You've been training for years to become the next protectors of the universe, and you're almost at graduation, all you have to do is take that final leap...!

...And beat all your fellow magical girls at an awesome all out race!

Mahou Jump X is a Magical Girl themed Fighting / Platform racer game! The game is being created as a part of our capstone (Senior Project) at the University of Baltimore's Simulation & Game Design Program!

  • Roles cast!

    Sorry all for the delay, I wanted to wait until after the holidays because there was a lot of travelling and it ended up more hectic than I intended but we're here! But our lovely voice actors have been selected and messaged and cast!

    Thank you everyone who auditioned for Mahou Jump X, I am seriously still in awe of the attention my silly final school project got and it really warms my heart.

    I'm going to be opening a discord server soon where we'll post updates on the game, extra content + any updates on voice acting needs in the future!

  • Auditions closed!

    Hello everyone! We've officially reached the deadline for auditions! Me and a few others will be reviewing these auditions in the next 2-3 days and reaching out to those who we would like to have in our project!

    Thank you so much to everyone who has auditioned, I appreciate it so much- I genuinely never thought we'd get more than 20 auditions; much less 100+ so it really means the world to me! Please continue to follow Mahou Jump X on all of our social media and itch.io to check for updates and any possible roles that may open up should we have time!

    Wow! I just want to say first and foremost thank you EVERYONE who has already auditioned- I can't lie I wasn't expecting to get any on the first day of posting this project and it genuinely moved me to tears while at work, I can't even begin to express my gratitude.

    Second of all- I'm so impressed already with the auditions I've gotten so far! Obviously the due date isn't until mid December but your voices are all so lovely and It's just so awesome to hear people's takes on my characters! Please keep following for updates- I'll probably start actually selecting final voice actors around December 10th! With 3 extra days for any stragglers/final decisions that I need help with from the rest of my team.

Nori is one of the fighters for our upcoming magical girl fighting/platform racer! She's very excitable and is generally a very positive person to be around because she truly sees the good in everyone. Even if someone doesn't initially want to be friends with her, she finds a way to worm herself into yourself heart and you really can't find it in yourself to complain!

Anabeth is the Student Council President who takes her job really seriously! ...Even if it is just highschool. She represents a more traditional magical girl and strives to be a perfect one til the end- always maintaining her appearance since she cares deeply about what the others think of her.

Jimena is a nature loving magical girl who aspires to get along with everyone- even if she can be a bit excitable sometimes. She cares deeply about everything- sometimes a bit too much; but that's only because of her big heart. Though she can be quite silly, she also understands when she needs to take a situation seriously.


*Jimena speaks Spanish as well; which while it isn't necessary for this role, could be fun to include in audition lines! She doesn't necessarily need to have an accent but feel free to give her one if you'd like!

Alicia is someone who didn't really sign up to be a magical girl but.. it's a duty she does nonetheless. Far from a typical magical girl and she doesn't care to embrace it. She tends to be closed off and reserved, with people often being intimidated by her.. but she has a soft spot for a few people.
