Maho Tsukai Pretty Cure! Episode 1 English Fandub
Project Overview
This is a casting call for the Collection of Dubs Maho Tsukai Pretty Cure Episode 1 English Fandub.
We will be casting for this September 5th, and production will also start in September. We plan to release this dub the 31st of October (Halloween).
For the 2 main roles, Miracle & Magical, we would also prefer to have singing ability to sing the ending. However, it is not required.
All roles are available, even if they are not listed.

You can find Collection of Dubs on YouTube and Tiktok. We have dubbed 2 (about to be 3 next month) episodes of Heartcatch Precure, and 1 episode of DokiDoki so far.

Voice Actor
Mirai is a energetic and funny girl who cares deeply about those she loves and is very selfless.
She is one of the two main characters, so she is a lead role and will have the most lines out of all characters in the episode.
The ending credits song for the episode, CURE UP↑RA♡PA☆PA! ~Magic That Turns Into Smiles~, is sung by both leads. We prefer singing experience/ability and the app “Bandlab”, however it’s not required. If our chosen VA does not have any talent in singing we will cast a separate singing VA.
If you have singing ability, please state so and add yourself singing in your audition recording too.
She has a teddy bear named Mofurun that was given to her by her grandmother. Mofurun is very important to her and comes to life in the episode by magic.
She also meets a girl named Liko by chance, who is a real magician student from a magic world. She admires Liko very much, and they become Pretty Cure together when evil arrives in Mirai’s world.
Mirai’s voice is a medium-high pitch, she’s very cheery and energetic.

(Happy after a victory) Still, though, that was great! “Cure Up Rapapa” really did get rid of the monster!
Voice Actor
Liko is a more serious, smart girl who is a student magician living in a magic world. She’s a good student, but her magic is weak and it’s her biggest insecurity.
She is one of the two main characters, so she is a lead role and has the second most amount of lines in the episode.

(Compromising) Just this once, as a thanks for the treat, I’ll show you a magical spell.
(Confused) Well, in effect, that *is* what happened.. but I’m not sure that was magic?
Voice Actor
Mofurun is Mirai’s beloved teddy bear who magically comes to life and allows Mirai and Liko to transform into magical girls called Pretty Cures. She’s warm-hearted, curious, and gets worried in serious moments.
Mofurun is an important character, however she doesn’t come alive until near the end of the episode, so she doesn’t have a ton of lines.
Because Mofurun is (quite literally) a stuffed teddy bear, her voice is high (but not too high) pitched and sounds very adorable.

Batty is the main villian of this episode.
Batty is very gentleman-like and always speaks in a polite manner, but he will do anything to obtain the Linkle Stone Emerald. (The powerful gem)

Yokubaru is the big monster summoned by the villian to attack the city and find the Emerald Linkru Stone.
Yokubaru is a giant monster, so its voice is very big and powerful. This role is male. All it really ever says is “Yokubaru” and grunts.
