Magnolia's Age (AUDIO DRAMA PROJECT)

Project Overview

Magnolia Beach High School tends to be a pretty average high school with pretty average days, and Friday, June 3rd is no exception. Lillian and her friends spend their day at school normally, and end the day with plans for the weekend before exams. However, when they wake up the next day, itโ€™s still June 3rd. Every morning when they wake up, itโ€™s June 3rd. All they want to know is how to make it to June 4th.

Magnolia's Age is an audio drama and is a psychological mystery and comedy. We hope you audition for our project! 


Rules:

  1. Please audition in ABCABC format!

  2. Please have little/no background noise and clear audio.

  3. Use the voice references!

  4. Weโ€™re looking for voice actors who can tell a story with just their voice. An audio drama has no moving visuals that match the story, so we are relying on just voice performance.

  5. Please be able to follow deadlines, but also communicate if you need extensions. We are happy to work with you as long as you are clear about what you need and honest.

  6. Join the discord! The discord is for fans and crew, but discord will be how we reach you and communicate.

  7. In your audition, please include your discord username and age. Age will not have anything to do with your casting, but please be over the age of 13 at the least.

  8. We will do callbacks if we need them, which is also why we need your discord username in your audition.

  • Casting Announcement in 2 days! (November 1st, 6PM UTC)

    Hi Petals!! The announcement of who's being casted is on November 1st, at 6PM UTC in the Magnolia's Age discord server! Please join if you haven't already and join us for the live casting Announcement!

    Here's how the announcement will work:

    1. We (as in the directors) will monologue for a bit about the project. Feel free to ask us any questions you may have during this time!

    2. Then, we will announce who voices who and invite them up to say a message if they want!

    3. You'll get your roles, and that's how things will go!

  • Deadline Extended to 10/31

    Hi Petals!

    One of our directors has actually gotten pretty sick, so we will have to move the deadline for VA submissions back to October 31st at 3:59AM UTC. This may be good news for some of you, as you will have extra time. For those of you that this inconveniences, we apologize wholeheartedly. We chose to move the deadline back as opposed to something else to ensure that every decision is made soundly with everyone's input!

She's a girls girl, always ready to defend anyone who needs defending and fight anyone who needs to be put in their place.

Angel has a stare that makes people wonder "is she okay?" Her big, black eyes are like a void that sucks up all light and makes everyone uneasy. She knows this and relishes in that fact. Shes theatrical, a little scary, and tends to remind people of a living doll. It takes some getting used to.

He's the epitome of quiet kindness.

A++ Student on the student council, but willing to take the fall for any of her delinquent friends.
