Magical Princess - Minky Momo: English DUB
Project Overview
Mahou no Princess Minky Momo, or Magical Princess Minky Momo as it is more commonly known as in English speaking territories, is a magical girl anime series from the 1980s. The show follows Momo, a fun and silly girl, as she goes on various adventures to help humanity reach ultimate kindness. Put simply, using her magical equipment, Minky Momo is available to transform into an adult every episode and benefit people by perusing a job. From being a police officer to stop a plan hijacking, to becoming a nurse in order to help her friend's sick pet - Minky Momo does it all. It is all in the hope that she will be able to return to the Land of Dreams one day, and tell its citizens they will not have to worry about helping the earthlings anymore, and that they have already been purified.
Now, although Minky Momo did receive an English dub decades ago, more than half of it is lost media - and is done terribly. So, this project is to bring a new Minky Momo English dub for a whole new generation to enjoy - and cherish. This way, the media will be easier available online for those who want to watch it as well, and Minky Momo as a franchise will be remembered for the impact it had on Japanese culture for even longer.
Because there are so many different characters inside of the different episodes, there are some roles listed as 'extras' to cover these. If you do audition for an extra, please join the discord. This way, we will be able to call on an extra whenever needed. There are so many roles, so we hope everyone is able to join, and help us make history!
The English dub will not only be shared on YouTube, but many other social media platforms as well. The work will be in the Public Domain so that anyone is able to share and view it for free.
Note: if you do audition for extra, please be able to make more than one voice. This is incase you need to be used again.

Minky Momo, or Momo as she is actually referred to in the show - is a 12 year old girl with pink hair and fair skin. Besides that, she is extremely playful, and has a happy personality. Despite this, the excited girl knows when to calm down and take things serious - making her a perfect protagonist, with a hint of funniness!

Besides being one of Momo's pets, a bird to be specific, Pipiru is also a vain character. To put it simply, Pipiru looks highly of herself in many different aspects, and has many dreams for the world. Making her quite the interesting sidekick.

Being the eldest out of all the pets, Shinderbook is quite the wise dog. As, although he is always tired and a bit on the grumpy side - he always brings the brightest ideas to the table. Striving to make sure everyone stays together, and sane!

Mocha ( Moe-chuh ), get off my head, that hurts!
Hey, I'm trying to sleep here.
Why don't we wait for them to come to us?
Whether you're actually playing a game, or in a serious fight for your life - Mocha seems to always have the funniest, yet weirdest, things to say! This makings him a crazy ball of excitement. Though, he can be a bit stubborn.
"You saw that I was going to fall here, you should've just moved!"
"Follow me! There's plenty of fun this way!
"Calm down, it was a joke!"
Minky Momo's father is a goofy character who always makes simple mistakes. He is even more notable for being extremely short, and old.

"Boots? Of course not. Why would I use boots to make myself look taller ( he is lying )? This is my natural height."
Besides being way more taller than her husband - Minky Momo's mother is also very calm and elegant, taking pride in everything she does. From watching over important works, to giving karma, she is way more mature and responsible than Minky Momo's father.

Because of how different her personality and voice are from her child form, I decided to give Minky Momo's adult-self a separate audition section.
As an adult, Minky Momo is still fun, but has a loving and more mature attitude towards things.
