More Roles Will Be Added Over TimeWhat is this?
This is a fandub project of the webtoon Mage & Demon Queen! I have received permission from the artist to do this. I am looking to cast the necessary roles to start with the first 5 episodes of the season 1. Once completed, I'll be adding roles for the later episodes and we will proceed with the project as a whole!
Mage & Demon Queen a Synopsis (from Wikipedia)Mage & Demon Queen is set in a fantasy world operating by the rules of role-playing games, where teams of human adventurers seek to challenge the Demon Tower, and whoever can ascend to the top floor and defeat and kill the Demon Queen Velverosa will gain fame and fortune and a rich reward from the kingdom, with near-unlimited retry opportunities thanks to resurrection magic. A particular thorn in the Demon Queen's side is Malori, a particularly powerful young mage that has repeatedly reached the top at the expense of her best friend Cerik, not to kill her, but to win her hand in marriage.
How do I audition?If you're interested, scroll down and check out which roles are currently open! I have some vocal prospects in mind, but I'm generally open to your interpretation!
Please have a decent microphone and quality audio. XLR is preferred, but USB is totally fine! However, I would request that there be no background noise and distortion.
Record the provided lines in ABC order (ABCABCABC) in .wav labeled as CharacterNameAudtion_YourName.
Please have a form of communication available, Discord is preferred. I will contact you directly about audtion through Casting Call Club.
Scripts and images will be provided if you are selected for a role.
Those in casted roles may be asked to voice one off characters.

H-H-Her girlfriend!? You mean the human mage who constantly visits the tower?
The 43rd Demon King, the King of Dragons, head of the Ghalaztox Clan and Velverosa's father.
He's only in a few episodes in season one, but he's in other seasons!
Looking for an authoritative voice. His voice doesn't necessarily need to be deep. Think of his voice like a military officer that commands a room.
Do you understand Vel? This is exactly what must be done.

Velverossa's Mother. She's focused more on her duties a queen than a mother.
Looking for a cold, queen vocal type. I want her to sound mature and commanding.
DARLING! You can't just hand the throne to her. She'll have to enter the tounament like everyone else.
Cecillia is the closest thing to a mother figure Malori has. She doesn't really take herself seriously most of the time.
She is only in one episode is season 1, but she has more of a presence in later seasons!
Looking for a carefree, young woman voice.
Listen, Malori. A mage shouldn't use such items. It's an absolute shame!!
If you disobey me, I'll turn you into a TOAD, place you in a jar and make you feast on flies!

A Beast Man general. He is notably very quiet, withdrawn, and ambivalent about Malori's attempts to flirt with Velverosa.

Chief researcher of the Demon Tower, Fhaust is responsible for constructing and overseeing the various magical devices that power the facility.
Looking for a flambouyant voice type.
[confident] Is this about Malori? Eh, I just don’t see the point of battling her when I’ve already lost to her a lot.

[casual] Well, Malori is cute.
A humanoid horned and winged demon, she has a great interest in fashion and oftentimes ropes Malori into purchasing the latest trends in the human territories.
(gushing) I don’t have any problems with her! Why, she doesn’t even complain when I make her buy me the latest fashion trends in human stores.
(confident) Hey, Mal! I think I can beat you this time!
A Wolf Beastman, she is in charge of commanding the rest of her species in the service of the Demon Army.
Looking for a gruff androgynous voice sorta like Kurapika from Hunter x Hunter
[monotone] Ah... You beat me. I'm in no condition to fight. Please spare my life and just pass through.
[suspicious] I really don't trust that guy...
[panicked] This is not "looting"! It's a HOLDUP!
(cheerful) But now, cute li’l Malori’s here to play with you every day. I bet you’re really happy!
(gently) Now, now, Queen Velverosa. Don’t pick on her.
Malori's best friend since childhood, the two of them met because of their fathers, became adventurers to help each other with their Interspecies Romance aspirations, and haven't been separated since. Though he is oftentimes exasperated (and harmed) by Malori's antics, they remain close friends.
