Macbeth: Murderer
Project Overview
After reading Shakespeare's Macbeth I thought to myself, "huh, this is a pretty twisted story. I wonder how much more twisted it would be if it was an animated thriller movie. And so, I took it upon myself to do the honor of making it myself. However, it will not be a full-length movie, but rather a teaser trailer for it. If you have not read Macbeth, I encourage you to do so before auditioning, so you know what exactly you are signing up for. This is somewhat of a PG-13 project because there is going to be some violence.

More roles have been added to this project, so feel free to check them out and/or audition if you'd like! More than one admission is acceptable!
MacDuff's Son is killed by murderers sent out by MacBeth. His age is undetermined, but I imagine him to be around the age of 10-12.
*Exclamations of surprise*
*Painful Gasps*
"Mother!"
*After being stabbed*
"...mother....he has killed me....run...run away.....I beg of you............"
"Well, then, traitors are fools, for there are enough of them to beat honest men and hang them instead."
Macbeth is the lead in the play. He ordered the king and his friend Banquo to death by his own murderers in order that he might take the throne for himself. Over the course of the story, he becomes insane and ends up being killed by his former friend.
*Thinking*
"The Thane of Cawdor (Caw-door)? 'Tis just as the witches predicted. Now, though, must I act upon my desire to fulfill the second prophecy?"
*Panicking*
The noble Duncan is dead by mine own sword. This blood on my hands shall never wash clean! What have I done!"
*In a rage*
"Doctor, find her disease, purge it and order her a clean health! I myself will not be afraid of Death until Birnam Forest comes to Dunsinane!!"
Lady Macbeth is Macbeth's wife. She encourages Macbeth to kill the king and take the throne for himself, in order to fulfill the prophecy of the witches.
*Mischevious*
"Thou must take the prophecy into your own hands. Use all of your strength, and kill those who stand against you."
"Come, thou spawns of the devil. Make thick my blood, and cover yourself in darkness, that the wound of my knife be not known."
Witch #1 is one of the evil weird sisters (basically a witch who predicts the future). She tells Macbeth that he will become king, but she twists her words cunningly.
"Double, double toil and trouble; fire burn and cauldron bubble."
"Hail, Macbeth!"
"When shall we meet again?
In thunder, lighting, or in rain?"
Witch #2 is one of the evil weird sisters (basically a witch who predicts the future). She tells Macbeth that he will become king, but she twists her words cunningly.
Double, double toil and trouble; fire burn and cauldron bubble."
"Hail, Macbeth, and Banquo!"
"A drum, a drum! Macbeth doth come!"
Witch #3 is one of the evil weird sisters (basically a witch who predicts the future). She tells Macbeth that he will become king, but she twists her words cunningly.
"Double, double, toil and trouble; fire burn and cauldron bubble."
Harpier cries: "'Tis time! 'Tis time!"
"Hail Macbeth!"
I know, I don't have a very strict criterion for you to follow, but for inspiration, it would be helpful if you could recreate the typical thriller music (Suspenseful, jumpscare, and dramatic string section). Thank you so much for your cooperation!

Macduff is devastated by his family's murder and ultimately beheads Macbeth at the end of the play. He is very loyal to Scotland.
"How are my wife and children? Has the tyrant Macbeth not thrown away their peace yet?"
(Ross tells Macduff that his family has been murdered. Macduff responds in disbelief:)
"...my children? .....and my wife too?" (Malcolm tries to reassure Macduff. Macduff again responds furiously:)
"He has no children! How could he know the pains of losing things most precious to him?! Oh, Macduff! They were all slain through your mistake!"
(Forcefully and through gritted teeth:)
"Turn, you hellhound! I have no words, and my voice is in my sword. You are a bloodier villain than any words can describe."
In the play overview, it states that Ross is a Scottish noble, however, I don't really see anywhere in the play itself that Ross holds a noble position. I kind of view him more as like a "servant-but-not-exactly-servant" to Macduff. He visits Macduff's wife after Macduff left Scotland, and took it upon himself to bring the dreadful news of the murders to Britain and Macduff.
"Dearest cousin, your husband is noble, wise, and judicious and best knows the violent time that Scotland is under."
"I would be a fool to stay any longer. It would be my disgrace and your discomfort. I will take my leave at once."
(It would be nice if this could be repeated in multiple tones, so I can get a feeling for the different moods that can be produced.)
"Sir, I beg you not despise me for the news that I bring.....your castle was captured.....and...your family...was slaughtered."
I need someone to mix the music and dialogue once I make the video.
