Love Live - µ's Cover Auditions *INACTIVE*
Project Overview
People will be chosen to participate in a Love Live! cover group of Muse. We will not be doing Aqours (fair warning). Projects will be posted on Youtube with credit to all of the respective singers. People will also have to be able to voice their characters well because of the spoken parts in various Love Live songs (like Mermaid Festa Vol. 1, Kaguya, etc.). (I may also decide to put little introduction segments for each of the idols, but don't worry if you don't know Japanese, because they will be in English).
YOU CAN SING IN JAPANESE OR ENGLISH FOR THE AUDITION - WE MAY BE DOING BOTH.
Look up videos of the idol you want to audition for just to make sure your voice is accurate.
How is it going to work?
At this point in time there are 8 spots available. I have casted myself as Rin, so that's why there's only 8 spots, not 9. Chosen members will contact each other through Instagram, email, and possibly other forms of communication.
Please give your Instagram name in your audition so if I cast you, you can be added to a group chat (for reference, my Instagram name is "yeetingpana").

For videos to get more traffic, it would be cool to have nice videos as well.

The group will most likely run from May to the end of July, with intermittent breaks for various reasons.

Honoka Kousaka is a second year in Love Live with a very optimistic attitude towards life. She believes she can do anything and when she puts her mind to it, she really can! Her singing voice is very idol-ish (a bit generic), and it may not have the best technique in the world, but it's peppy and get's people fired up.

Umi Sonoda is a very proper girl. She's scared of the unknown but, if given enough encouragement, she can do whatever she wants. Her singing voice is very deep and powerful.

Kotori Minami is a very kind girl who thinks of everyone before herself, but because of that often holds her emotions in. Her singing voice is very squirrelly.

Maki has a very techno voice. Her personality is fiery, basically a tsundere. It's hard for her to warm up to people.

Rin is a very energetic girl. She loves sports but also wants to be able to be feminine sometimes. Her singing voice is very clean and clear (tm haha) and it has a bit of an open sound to it.

Eli Ayase is a significant figure in u's. She is the last member to join, but she is very headstrong and independent. Her voice is a mix of Maki and Umi's. (look up a video if you're unsure, I'm bad at explaining.)

Nozomi Toujou is basically the mom of u's. She created the name and gave life to nearly whole situation, even though she didn't join the group until later. Her singing voice has a metallic edge to it.

Nico Yazawa refers to herself as 'the ultimate idol.' She acts richer than she actually is, but is actually a great older sister to her siblings and is really passionate about what she does. Her voice can be childish or low (see Wild Stars solo).
The purpose of being an idol is to make others smile. Never forget that.

Send in a clip of your mixing skills where you have mixed together MORE THAN 3 VOICES (you'll be working with 3 to 9 voices for the majority of the time).
Send a link to a video that you created that shows off your editing skills (look up color coded videos or love live cover videos for ideas of what I'm looking for).
If you don't have a flexible schedule but still want to join, try out to be an understudy! From your audition, I may pick what character you could be, and tell you that you'll be on standby until one of the members isn't available for recording.
