Hey there everyone! Lucky here! Welcome to Cloud 9, a Love Live! Cover Group created by myself. We will be singing covers of songs by Aqours in ENGLISH! I have created a YouTube page for our group already, so we will be posting our covers there.
There are 8 open slots for the Aqours singers (excluding Dia, to whom I am self-casting myself as). If you want to hear samples of my voice, click on my username and check out my CCC page. There is also an “Unsure” role that you may submit your vocals into if you are unsure about which role to audition for, or where your voice fits. I, or someone else lurking on this audition page, will give you advice on what role to audition for.
You will also see a role for a Video Producer, Audio Mixer, and Manager. If you fit any of these roles and what they contain, please DM me or submit an audition following the instructions given to you on the audition tab below. I will leave my business e-mail address in the audition tabs below for those with hefty files to send.
If you are interested in becoming both a singer and a crew role, let me know! I would absolutely LOVE to have members who can do both. This is completely optional though, so don’t feel pressured!
With that out of the way, I want to set down some instructions and rules for the auditioning process:
When auditioning for a main singing role (one of the Aqours girls), you MUST sing at least 30 seconds of ANY Aqours songs in existence. I do not care what song it is, and it does not matter if you have the off-vocal in the background. However, you must do your best to keep up with the song. Just try your hardest!
Be nice to all who audition! Pretty self-explanatory. Just be kind! We’re all friends here. :)
You MUST have a Discord account or be willing to create one. This will be our primary form of communication. If you do not have a Discord account, or you’re wondering what the heck discord is, I will leave a link here: https://discord.me/signup
While auditioning, sing in your NATURAL SINGING VOICE! Yes, even for Mari. Natural voices blend better together and make the Audio Mixer’s job one-hundred times easier. Not only that, but it sounds much better and more professional.
And lastly, the minimum microphone requirement is an iPhone or Mac. They actually have decent mics (It’s what I use to record!).

Chika is the natural leader of the group, which leads to her countless centers in many Aqours songs. Her voice is soft, and medium-high pitched, but not unnatural sounding. If you audition for Chika, be prepared for many centers and a lot of recording!

You is like that best-friend that lives next door that you've known since Kindergarten and bakes you cupcakes all the time. Her voice is stronger than Chika's, but not quite as intense as Yoshiko's. When auditioning for You, keep in mind your breath control and fluency, as her voice is very clear.

Riko's voice is strong, yet soft at the same time. She is easy to listen to because of her word fluency, and can go pretty high and relatively low. When auditioning for Riko, keep in mind to sound natural, as that is what her voice sounds like in many of the songs she sings. It also helps to have a crippling fear of dogs, so keep that in mind.

Be prepared for the experience of a lifetime! Yoshiko's voice is sweet, cute, innocent, and clear. But when the fallen angel inside of her breaks free, YOHANE TAKES FORM AND HAS A DEEP AND RICH VOICE THAT IT STILL PRETTY CLEAR. Keep in mind that Yoshiko's voice can go all over the place, so be ready. Do your best to show your high and low voice in the audition!

Everytime I look at Hanamaru, she reminds me of a chocolate chip cookie. Poor, sweet, innocent Hanamaru. Her voice is just the same way: just the right amount of sweetness and clarity that makes her so popular. To me, Hanamaru's voice is the most natural sounding in the group. Do your best to do justice to our little Maru! Keep in mind not to be too strong in your singing. If you do, you're crossing into Dia's territory.

Ruby is essentially just a toddler in a teenage girl's body; Her voice is cute and soft, and her mannerisms are childish. However, that does not mean she isn't a fantastic singer and performer. Ruby's voice is extremely soft and cute, but not too overdone. She can be hard to understand at times because of the volume of her voice, but she sounds lovely nonetheless. Keep in mind that Ruby shouldn't be artificial. Her voice is much more naturally soft, so go for that kind of effect.

Kanan is everybody's big sister. She's hard not to like, right? Kanan is most likely the most adult, mom-like girl in Aqours. Her voice is pretty shrill, but very clear. When auditioning for Kanan, keep in mind not to overdue the shrillness, and no shrillness at all is accepted with open arms. Her voice is soft and charming at the same time.

Mari is...well...Mari. Her unique and flamboyant personality reflects in her singing voice: off the wall and high pitched. Mari's voice may be high-pitched, but that does not mean that each song she sings reflects that. Her voice can go quite low as well, so keep that in mind when auditioning. Remember not to overdue to high-pitchness in your audition song.
