Project Overview
Love Covered in Scars and Quills is an animated animatic hybrid series that is a side series relating to The SSB Multiverse. It relates to Max's lore and how he ended up like how he is now, and falls in love with Sonic the Hedgehog. (It's a very crazy crackship, I know lol-)

Nugget, one of Max's best friends, is the kind of guy who lives the life of a cowboy. Always speaks in countrisms and genuinely cares about his friends and folks around him.
I imagine him sounding like Braeburn from MLP FiM. If you have something else in mind, go ahead and wing it, cuz I'm all open for what people can do with western accents! ;)

[Checking up on Max; A bit worried]: Max? …Max? …Wakey wakey buckaroo..! You awake?
[Feels really bad]: …That… gunshot to the face really messed with you.. didn't it..?
[Adores; Teasing]: Awwww, my ol’ bucko's in love with someone! You sweet thing you!
Hope is the younger sister of Max, and the oldest sister or Jimmy and Oxaya. She loves music, hanging out with her friends, and spending time with her family when the time is needed. She also has a demon form that rarely comes out, but comes out when the time is right.
I imagine Hope sounding a lot like Mei from Turning Red. If you come up with anything else, don't feel shy or hesitant do do your own spin on the character's voice!

[Shocked]: WH-HUH?! W-Wait, he’s your twin brother?! Does that mean he was a fourth sibling?!?
[Concerned]: Okay, good, cuz I heard a lot of noise while I was sleeping, then I heard Max sobbing, and I didn't want to disturb anything, soo.. Are you okay now bro?
Martha is the mother of Max, Hope, Jimmy and Oxaya, and the wife of Jeff. She's very hard working and cares for her family very much, making sure that they're not in any danger or whathave you.
I imagine her sounding like Chilli Heeler from Bluey. If you have something else in mind, go on ahead!

Jeff is the father of Max, Hope, Jimmy and Oxaya, and the husband of Martha. He's also hard working and supports his family, though he did have a troubling past whenever Oxaya came into the family. He regrets doing what he did, and tries to see through his mistakes.
I imagine him sounding like Jerry from Rick and Morty. If you have something else in mind, don't feel shy to do your own take on the character!

[States]: Of course not, are you out of your mind Martha?! I just wanted to have a chat with him!
[Disappointed]: Oh, not the puppy eyes you two, come on! …*Sighs* …I know you guys are sorry, but that doesn't mean you two are scott free from this whole ordeal! I'm not mad, just disappointed…
Nurse Piper is one of the nurses in the hospital who helps Max out with his condition. She's helpful, caring and loving towards her patients.
I imagine her sounding like Nurse Joy from Pokemon. If you have a different voice for her, don't feel hesitant to do your own take!

[Helping]: We’re gonna need him to stay in the hospital for a few weeks or so to get him healed up.
[Greets]: Oh hello! You must be Max's friend, Nugget!
[Offers]: We did have two options that we could do for him to make his condition heal faster.
Doctor Apollo is one of the doctors in the hospital. He's sometimes forgetful of things but he's genuinely a good person and helpful.
I imagine him sounding a little bit like Almond Cookie from Cookie Run Kingdom. If you have something else in mind, don't be shy to do your own take on the character!

[Happy]: *Chuckles* Well I'm glad it wasn't too painful! Sometimes people still have trypanophobia and hate how painful the syringes are.. I don’t blame them though, it’s a common fear!
