Project Overview


Hey! I recently did a Maomao impression on my YouTube channel, enjoyed it, and wanted to make funny skits. I'm looking for a Jinshi VA to do skits with at the moment. Eventually, I would want to get an entire cast, but for now I have Jinshi auditions! This project will update with more characters added when the time comes, or I'll just create a new project, simple as that. Also, I will be giving credit to each VA in the cast in the description or comment section of each skit. Anyways, have fun auditioning!~

    PROJECT UPDATE:

    I wanted to update you guys on this Apothecary Diaries project so far. Most importantly, sharing how this will go after roles have been cast. Once cast, I will send a Discord friend request to you, and I will be inviting you to a server for the project. More info and updates will be on there.

    I would also like to point out that this role you'll have will not be very strict in terms of deadlines, I'm working on other projects too. So, it will take me time, as well as the fact that I will be animating this project. Surprise!~ 🥳🥳

    For deadlines, you'll have plenty of time to send in your voiced lines, just make sure they match the mouth of your character talking. You'll be sent the animation to help you. :)

    ANIMATION:

    Animation itself takes a long time. These short skits are roughly going to be around 3 minutes or less, but I also would like to do longer skits; not sure how long that will be, but I will update when the time comes.

    The animation will look like the Apothecary Diaries anime! Yippee!

Jinshi (壬氏ジンシ, Jinshi) is the deuteragonist of The Apothecary Diaries series. He appears to be a beautiful eunuch who was placed in charge of the Inner Court and often requests for Maomao to solve mysteries in the Imperial Palace in exchange for rare medicines. He finds her attitude refreshing and amusing, but his childish curiosity evolves into romantic affection.


- Looking for a voice actor who can perform a balance of polished confidence with emotional comedy. Jinshi is elegant, dramatic, and easily flustered by Maomao's unpredictability.
