Project Overview
Long 15 - NCR Expansion is a large mod for Fallout: New Vegas that allows the player to explore Interstate 15 (I-15) in California within New California Republic (NCR) territory.
The mod will include over 200 voiced NPCs, and 10-15+ hours of highly replayable content with exciting quests and a living, breathing world that reacts to your actions.

Large role. A frustrated member of the Thieves’ Circle disillusioned with his old group and the NCR. Believes that this is “the end of history” and that the world is doomed to repeat the mistakes of the Old World. If properly reinvigorated, he will reveal his plan to steal Hightower’s cap reserve.
Leads the player on a unique heist quest.
Voice Description: Cunning and clever, initially stand-offish but talkative once he opens up. Something of a Robin Hood character.

Hightower keeps a large stash of caps in his basement. It's not his main stash, but I've estimated it at around 80,000 caps.
He controls the water, and the water backs the cap. If the NCR switches to the cap, then suddenly, he owns the basis of the entire economy.
Old and tired former adventurer. Comes from a fairly secluded community of Hawaiian descendants in Frisco State. Journeyed out from his town to look for the mythical "Ninth Island" in the Mojave Desert decades ago. Was disillusioned when he failed to find it in the ruins of Vegas after years of searching. Quietly runs the Hawaiian King's restaurant, serving fairly expensive and exclusive meals, with the money being sent back home. Bans take out and will permanently bar further service with you if you leave without eating his food first.

I decided to journey to go East and search for a local legend of my people. The Ninth Island.
Our legend said when the gods of the Old World created Hawaii, they created a ninth island in the middle of the desert so we'd always be connected with the mainland.
Must speak fluent Spanish (and English, but there are only a few English lines). Extremely high visibility role, although not a huge one in terms of lines.
A tribal from Baja, he is the bodyguard of Stanton. A silent man who refuses to speak any English, straight-up believing that it's a worthless language. It is heavily implied that Stanton illegally keeps him as a slave. Much smarter than he lets on.
Voice Description: Fluent Spanish speaker, very rough upbringing, rude and abrasive.

Oregonian immigrant that came to the NCR on a bear pass as part of a Followers outreach program. Worked as a farmhand and then a cleaner at a number of places before accidentally breaking the Mr. Handy inside Casa Stanton. Since then, he is regularly degraded by the guards and Stanton, being forced to pretend to be a Mr. Handy and acting as Stanton's jester.

Voice Description: 20s male, kind, a bit weak and down. Treated very poorly. Some lines are done in a “Mr Handy” cadence, and others are normal.

Member of the world’s oldest profession at Casa Stanton. Treated relatively poorly by Stanton. Surprisingly closed-minded, mostly due to her socially conservative upbringing - the irony is not lost on the player.
Male players will be able to purchase her services (simple fade to black, no actual services happen visually or audibly). Female players will be able to learn about Gracie’s background, as they are not “paying customers” to her.

Oregonian tribal in her 40s/50s who worked as a midwife. Works as Frick Stanton's maid, who greased NCR palms to make her a citizen. Have a generally negative view of Stanton due to his more perverted tendencies towards her.
Voice Description: 40s-50s female voice, polite out of necessity but not overly friendly. Competent and intelligent.

I certainly like the other employees more than the guests. If an employee makes a mess, they apologize. If a guest makes a mess, they scream at me.
For one, I don't work for you, and even if you were one of Stanton's bigshot friends, I wouldn't give you the time of day for that kind of language. If you want food, make it yourself.
I get enough lip like that from Stanton's bigwig friends, and you don't really look like one.
Long-time illegal immigrant from John Day, Oregon. Worked on smaller farms in northern California before Brahmin Barons took it over and forced her to work for dirt cheap under threat of being deported back to Oregon. Has been passed around a number of Brahmin Baron lands before ending up on Stanton’s land.
Voice Description: 40s-50s female voice. Rude, stand-offish. Hard shell that is difficult to break through.

You're damn right it's rough, but it is better than returning up North. There's death squads, raiders, and cannibals in Oregon.
The NCR's supposedly "civilizing" the place, but I've heard some awful nasty rumors about what they’re doing to the locals.
