Long 15: Casting Call #3
Project Overview
Long 15 - NCR Expansion is a large mod for Fallout: New Vegas that allows the player to explore Interstate 15 (I-15) in California within New California Republic (NCR) territory.
The mod will include over 200 voiced NPCs, and 10-15+ hours of highly replayable content with exciting quests and a living, breathing world that reacts to your actions.
Our Project Discord can be found here: https://discord.gg/8EZQNMS5FQ
Due to the size of this mod, we plan to release new CastingCallClub pages regularly based on the locations of our characters.
Our talented team has millions of combined downloads across our mods, and recently worked on the popular Dry Wells - Legion Expansion mod.

Great chef, with a bad gambling problem. Works hard and has a good attitude, but hates dishonest people. He is happy to help someone in need or a fellow chef, but won’t do business with NCR enemies. He has a great gig as the base has a surplus of food, partially thanks to being a key supply line along with their collaboration with Stanton’s farms.

Hey, you don’t look like a trooper. This is a mess hall for the troops.
Back again? Looking to buy some grub?
If you’re looking to buy food, you’re out of luck. Some asshole killed our main supplier. There goes my easy gig.
Ghoul doctor at Fort Westin. A ghoul in his 180s, with decades of experience. Has lived in Necropolis, the Hub's Cemetery Quarter and One Pine. Has served in the NCR Army since the 2220s. Has an eccentric habit of taking the names of places he's visited and joking that he founded them.

When I worked trauma in the Boneyard, I knew a guy like you who said he'd be fine. Died four days later. Just saying.
You're not a trooper, so you'll have to pay, but yeah, I can treat you.
Before I joined the NCR Army, I lived in Cemetery Quarter in the Hub. Or Sunset Point, whatever the official name is these days.
Well-meaning and intelligent quartermaster, but pretty green - fresh out of officer training. She aced her exams, but is a bit overwhelmed with all the actual moving parts of logistics.

Are you here to pick up the 5.56{five five six} shipment, or are you bringing me those MP helmets I ordered?
Alright, just sign this form, and- you’re screwing with me. Is there something you actually need help with?
My troopers are working around the clock fixing damaged gear, sending it into the Mojave, and re-receiving it damaged two weeks later. It never ends.
Fort Westin’s local prankster. Detonated a cherry bomb in one of the barracks’ toilets. She’s laying low to try and avoid punishment by the fort’s new readiness sergeant.

Oh, hey, I've heard of you. You're that bigshot from the Mojave. What the hell are you doing in this dump?
You want to know what I do? I wake up. I drill. I patrol. I go to sleep. I do that every day.
If a Legion sharpshooter blew my head off, it would be an improvement over doing nothing but drilling.

I'm with a sales rep for the Gun Runners. Been with them for six or seven years now. Before that, I was a waitress and hairstylist.
We've got the parts, the schematics and the know-how. No one knows more about guns than us.
Service rifles are our bread and butter. They're clean, they're reliable, good fire rate, and ever since we fixed the wood swelling issue three years ago, we've had no complaints.
NCR ghoul Veteran Ranger, a Desert Ranger who went West instead of East. Only shows up with a small group of Veteran Rangers to Fort Westin once the Courier's Mile is created to monitor the increasing activity in the Divide.

Well, well, it's our friend in the Mojave. I don't believe we've met. Name's Creighton. Pleased to meet you.
What the hell is someone like you doing walking around a secure military installation?
It's good to have one of the older Desert Rangers in charge. Makes the new bloods from Nevada and Arizona feel heard.
The leader of the displaced ranchers and raider of caravans along the Long 15. Lost his home when Morton cleared out his home for the previous mayor. An angry man who's simply trying to provide for his family.

Hold up there, stranger. State your business or get shot.
Surrender? My family and I would be willing to surrender, but you're going to have two big holdouts.
Beale and Nakayama both hate the government, so you're going to need to sweet-talk them.
Jeremiah's sister. Level-headed, and a good shot.

I'm a pretty good shot, better than my brother, so I guarded the ranch from Radscorpions and Geckos.
Honestly, if his little casa wasn't so heavily guarded, I would just kill him and surrender. He and his gunmen are the one we have beef with.
Guns are great, but you can't eat bullets, so we started attacking caravans we thought were with Stanton.
Jeremiah's mother. Basically sits in a chair all day along but has a remote to blow up the room she's in if attacked.

My name is Sheryl, but the people here call me Grandma McDougal. I'll only give you one guess why that might be.
I haven't been able to do farmwork for the last eight months. Don't have the knees for it anymore. There's no way I'd be able to go on caravan raids.
After the attack, there was no talking to anyone here. We were all so angry.
Jeremiah's son. Enjoys raiding the caravans as a way of sticking it to the man.

So, dad let you in. Nice to meet you. My name's Seth.
I went to school in Baker because Mom wanted me to get a proper education so I could get into one of those community colleges back West.
Beale and Nakayama are really weird because they like to discuss politics. They told me that they don't agree on anything but that they're best friends anyways.
A rancher allied with McDougal. Hates the NCR outright due to being forced off his land by Brahmin Barons twice, one in One Pine and the other in Baker. Sort of a Communist. Best friends with Tommy, a Libertarian.

To be frank, I'm not happy with you being here at all. Still, if Jeremiah says you're okay, then we're okay. My name is Beale.
The NCR is the latest iteration of the owning class's attempt to subjugate the lower classes.
When mankind keeps settling for the lesser of two evils, an evil wins anyways. So, why fight only one of them?
A rancher allied with McDougal. Owned a significant amount of unlicensed firearms, which the ranchers are using to attack caravans. Libertarian, but best friends with Beale, a communist.
Voice description: 35-45 male voice, slightly slower cadence, as if he’s trying to emphasize his words and let them sit for you to remember them. Rancher / slight country twang is okay, but not required.

Hey there, name's Tommy Nakayama. It's nice to meet you.
Beale's my friend, and I get why he's angry like that, but... I just can't understand why he would think the solution to an overzealous government stealing his land is to make an even bigger government.
Only way they're going to take my freedom is if they rip it from my cold, dead hands.
Owner of the Baker General Store. An immigrant from Phoenix who hates the Legion and Augustinos.

Name's Marian. Welcome to the Frontier Store. Let me know if there's anything you'd like.
My selection is admittedly pretty limited, so if you need specialty gear, I would probably recommend taking a walk over to the motel across the highway. It is way more expensive, though.
I swear, no one around here cares about what the Legion's doing. I've been there. I know.

Hey there! You need something fixed, or just looking for conversation?
Why the hell would they want to steal from me? They could walk to the junkyard and get twice as much stuff for free.
I'm the town repairwoman. You need it fixed, you come to me.

{Determined} Stanton's gonna pay.
NCR will get what's coming to them.
Hope you're here to help.
