Limina Park: Pilot Episode
Project Overview
Limina Park is an upcoming Indie Animated Web Series that unfolds a surreal and mysterious world that appears as the sun falls. As the sun sets, magical escalators materialise outside the houses of local kids. Taking these kids to a magical park--Limina Park. A liminal space theme park that exists between reality and the unknown, trapping these adolescent kids in their childhoods. Places and experiences you believe to have been forgotten through time. For the better or the worst.
As the series progresses, the once whimsical Limina Park reveals its darker secrets. The seemingly innocent owner, Nero Showstopper, lures children into hidden corridors, turning beastly to eat their flesh. As the children find themselves trapped in a never ending limbo of childhood memories and horrors. With each episode, the kids must unravel hidden exits and entrances within the Park, hiding away from the beast in an attempt to save the next victims of Nero.

Nero Showstopper is the founding father of Limina Park, their aim is to entertain and let kids enjoy their experience at the Park. However, Nero has ulterior motives.
Nero has two voice actors, one representing his excitement and wonderment. The other, displaying his utter annoyance of having to tend to snotty children all day. For this character we took inspiration from characters such as ENA, who have also two VAs to represent their different emotions and personalities.
Nero comes from Italian descent, and we would like to see a Brooklyn Italian accent in his fits of rage. For his other agitated lines, please provide a Mid Atlantic accent, as would be preferred.

Ohhh so you'd like something we don't have? Sure! Let me get that for you right now!... seriously? These kids drive me nuts...
Oce is a beloved staff member of Limina Park, trying his best to get the kids riled up and active in their play. He loves getting up and active, and loves a good competition. You should see him compete, he's very confident! Oce works alongside his band of misfits, making up the GENOCIDE group. As they were younger they had also been taken to Limina Park, soon Nero had fallen in love with their plots and schemes and soon hired them to work by his side.
Note: Oce is Transgender FtM, so we would prefer someone who represents this if possible, you may audition if you aren't transgender. However we would highly appreciate someone who is a POC that can audition for this role, as we aim to have as accurate representation as possible for our pilot. We sincerely hope you all understand.

Auditions for Character Animations. All animations must be 2D, however you have the option to work on animatics, lineart, colours etc. You will be working alongside our team of writers, story board artists, directors and other animators to create our pilot episode.
Must be able to follow the artstyle provided, a "bootcamp" will be hosted in our discord server to assist you with our animation style.
We would prefer if work would be done in the following: Clip Studio Paint, Adobe Illustrate/Animate, Ibis Paint (it is compatible with CSP and Adobe).
A portfolio must be shown in order to be forwarded in the application process. If you are interested but do not have a portfolio, a quick animation test will be held for you.

As our storyboard artist, you will be expected to follow along the guidelines of our writers and directors. You will be given the opportunity to work alongside talented artists to create a storyboard for our pilot episode.
As our writing progresses you will be expected to follow as soon as the script updates, your work will then be uploaded and will be edited to our writers liking so we can achieve the most accurate representation of our script as possible. Participants must have the ability to communicate with our staff effectively, to ensure any work isn't repeated or incorrect.
Work can be submitted in any format you'd like, as long as it is high quality. We accept both traditional and digital works. No experience is necessary but it would be appreciated. Please provide a portfolio, if you do not have access to a portfolio please comment below for our discord server, where we can provide you with a short test before accepting you.

Your job will require you to work alongside our animators, writers and fellow artists on the team! You will be creating character turnaround sheets, backgrounds, bg characters, promotional material such as posters and merchandise, and much more. We are looking for active users on Discord who are also always up for a task. We are hiring artists of any level and skill, and a "style bootcamp" will be provided to you so you can produce work in a similar style to our original concepts.
