Limbus Company Video Series - Limbus Project
Project Overview
We're in pretty dire need of help, so even those who aren't fans of Limbus Company are very welcome to lend a hand if they'd like to develop their skills alongside us or add to their portfolio - we would be incredibly thankful. Of course, if you know any Project Moon fans who might be interested... let them know!
We at TeamTourBus are working on a video series in which the sinners of Limbus Company find themselves spread across the globe - separated from manager Dante, Mephistopheles and one another. They each attempt to manage in their own ways while haunted by familiar faces both friendly and antagonistic. This year we are focused on creating introductory videos for each sinner’s POV, with their designated number correlating to the month of release. The latest was Heathcliff's (#7) who is now in England, August's is Ishmael's (#8) set in Massachusetts and so on. If all goes well in the long term, we hope to then move on to 10+ minute episodes featuring various scenes from assorted perspectives next year.
Anyone interested is welcome to request the script - fulfilling the provided audition lines is optional; if you are short on time you may instead send an example of you performing a voice you believe would fit, or simply have a go at the script once you have received it.
Those with an interest in the project are welcome to join our Discord server, even if you are unsure whether you will be contributing to it. We ask only that you submit a short statement of intent which we shall manually verify (keeps the bots and spammers away).

Sails forth with unwavering determination, even at the expense of her crew. The Ahab that the sinners confronted was characterized by her cruelty, but in this world it appears she is (at least for now) amicable and reasonable. Much to Ishmael's suspicion. She recently returned to work from hospital after a whale claimed her ship, crew and leg - but she won't let those losses slow her down.

(Smug, condescending) “My crew is nothing if not loyal. More so than anyone in the world. And this one here is second to none when it comes to harpooneering. So… do you still fail to see that to attack me here is to court death?”
(Fierce, triumphant) “Ha! Ahahahaha!! YES! Now I see the eyes of a proper seadog! Finally, conviction burns within your eyes! I shall not disappoint, Ishmael. Allow my heart to beat like the very tempest, so that it may be a target worthy of your harpoon.”
(Desperate, pitiful) “No, you will not look down at me…! I am Captain Ahab! I... you… you should have killed me… I should have been the one to kill the Whale…!”

Fun fact - Calcium (meeee) only started script writing in the last couple months, right after watching the intro for Meursault. While several scenes have been written for future sinner intros, a second opinion and some help filling in the gaps or developing the overarching story into something more cohesive than its current outline would be very much appreciated. Least recommended role for those unfamiliar with Limbus Company.

We're currently limited to using the in-game sprites of the sinners - meaning the videos are heavily reliant on context from dialogue and sound effects. If you have any artistic abilities and an interest in Limbus Company... we'd love for you to help bring this project to life. Given the informal and amateur nature of this whole endeavour, you're welcome to hop in and out (and be selective about which sinner's scenes you work with) as long as you give us ample heads up.

Currently, the two people responsible for video editing are makotover (on a phone using software prone to crashing and is busy with other things, which as you can imagine isn't ideal) and myself (who has the mercy of a PC but has never edited a video before so uh, wish me luck on this month's eh?). Naturally, this means we're quite limited in what we're capable of and are a tad desperate for someone who both has the means and capability to produce something cleaner.

Sensible and hardworking, but left wallowing in anxieties and stress over her unexpected and bizarre predicament - stranded alone and having trouble making any new connections. She's trying desperately to stay anchored amidst the waves as she always has, but seeing a certain captain appear once again causes her spiteful and aggressive side to come bubbling back up from the depths.

(Frustrated) “That’s rich coming from you, Heathcliff. What 'common sense' do you have of the Great Lake? Have you even seen a whale? What do you even know about a sailor’s life? Hah, how would you? It’s something that a pathetic lovey-dovey tenderfoot like you… won't ever understand, not after dying a hundred deaths.”
(Quietly hopeful) “Before I saw that recruitment post… after I boarded the Pequod… even after I joined Limbus Company… I've never taken the helm of my own ship. But… I think I've finally found my compass.”
Looking for someone both able to convey his brash side while he's enjoying his night out with newfound friends as well as his more tender, vulnerable and regretful side when it comes to the topic of Catherine, his (presumed dead) love interest.
