Project Overview
Super Energy Fighter Squadron Friendship Team (or SEFSFT for short) is a high-octane adventure in a fantastic world full of lovable characters, heart-pumping action, and more!
Summary
SEFSFT takes place in a world where most of the people in the world have one of two types of superpowers: Red superpowers (aka "singularities") can create energy, while Blue singularities can absorb energy. Our story revolves around a group of friends who team up to stop the war between the Blues and the Reds. Along the way they meet time-travelers, sarcastic AI's, a hyper-intelligent goldfish, and many more.
Episode 1 is a bit of a prologue. It's the story of how Paul Mann (the time-traveler) and his sarcastic AI get stranded in the past and accidentally get tied up in the war of Blues vs Reds. We've written the script, and are now looking for some voice actors to bring these characters to life!
Requirements
- Good quality microphone (no background noises, no echo, etc.)
- A Discord account (for communication, submitting lines, and so on...)
- You gotta have fun! We made this project in our spare time just for fun, and we want to make sure that everyone involved with the project enjoys it as much as we do.
- IMPORTANT NOTE: Most of the parts in this episodes are one-time-only parts -- those characters won't be returning. However, two of these parts are major characters that will reappear quite often in future episodes. If you audition for one of those parts, you have to be willing to stay with the project beyond episode 1.
- Don't be disappointed if you aren't cast. We've got plenty more episodes to come, and plenty more voices to be added; stay tuned!

Paul Mann is a scientist from the future who is developing a way to travel to the past. Unfortunately, his research gets defunded and he has to take extreme measures to complete his research.
His voice is a bit rough, but also confident. It has to be very dynamic, so make sure you can convey a wide range of emotions with your voice. This is one of the main characters, so make sure you can come back for episode 2 and beyond!
(Happy, compassionate) Well, after you told me how passionate you were about that research, I couldn't bear to see it go to waste.
(Serious, determined) That's right, Q. We're going to break into the most secure laboratory on earth and complete our experiment.
(Humorous) And I thought traveling hundreds of years into the past would be the weirdest thing I'd do today!
Q is a Curator-class AI that assists Paul with his research. She's very sarcastic and blunt, but can also be quite friendly. She's a recurring character, so make sure you can stick around for future episodes as well!
Her voice is open to interpretation. Just make sure it's dynamic. Q is a main character, so she needs to be able to convey many different emotions. Good luck!
(Serious, blunt) Paul, the NSCS won't give you fifty dollars -- much less fifty million dollars -- if they don't stand to make a profit.
(Sarcastic, humorous) You just inverted your inverter, which would make just a regular old verter. Really defeats the purpose of an inverter when you invert it.
The only way anybody gets in the lab is if they're supposed to be there. I checked air vents, water ducts, I even considered having you skydive in. There's absolutely no way to reach it without setting off the alarm.
Brenda is a friendly, bubbly scientist who helps Paul execute his plan. She only appears in this episode, but we may have roles available in the future for the VA who takes this role (if they're interested).
(friendly, humorous) Nice to meet you, Q. So, how did Paul get hold of of an AI as powerful as you? Did he steal ya?
(Disappointed) I tried to get one of my most amazing inventions funded, but once they realized there wasn't any money to be made, they shut me down.
(serious, determined) If they get that shard out of here, getting our hands on it will be a whole lot harder.
There are actually a few council members in this script, so we may end up choosing 2 or 3 of you! the council members are crochity old men (or women). They're strongly disliked by most of the main cast, so make them sound as ugly or annoying as possible!
The decision has already been made. We are de-funding your project and reallocating he resources to a new endeavor.

High-level security guards. They don't mess around, and neither do their guns. Try to make them sound really intense. We may end up casting 2 people for this role btw.
