Lifeline - Animated Film

Lifeline - Animated Film

Project Overview

This will be a one-shot animated film based on the mobile game, Lifeline.

In this game, you play as the sole point of contact for an astronaut named Taylor, who is stranded after crash landing on a parallel moon. You guide Taylor's steps with choices making this a "choose your own adventure" game. Real world knowledge applies to certain choices and Taylor will sometimes encourage you to look up if something is dangerous via the internet but for the most part, these choices are just guesses or only use knowledge obtained in the game.

However, for this animation, I will be adding original scenes and dialogue to allow a visual for the character that the gamers play as well as changing the player's dialogue to make lines longer.

Mel is a Viridian actual, who is also in a spaceship and contacts the player for guidance.

Looking for a firm, mature, and medium-low pitched voice.

Character is female.

  • *blunt, growing slightly annoyed towards end*  "Viridian is the name of the ship. And 'actual' means you're speaking to the person who's actually in charge of the actual ship.. As opposed to my RTO. And yes, I just realized that if I had to explain all that other crap... Then I obviously have to explain that 'RTO' stands for radio telephone operator. Over."

  • *joking, slightly letting guard down* "This delightful hunk of desert is labeled 31U00W. Catchy, huh? If our space program's good for anything, it's poetry. My favorite kid's book si the one with the little bunny rabbit.. Who says, 'Goodnight room. Goodnight 31U00W. Goodnight cow jumping over 31U00W.' Really takes me back to my childhood. My terrible, terrible childhood."

  • *quiet, trying to stay calm* "Oh. Man. I haven't been scared of anything since I was a girl. I was a daredevil on my bike. A risk-taker at school. Even when my dad kicked me out.. I wasn't afraid. I knew I could get by. Joined up with the Ninth the first day they'd take me. Never so much as sniffled during boot camp, while guys twice my size were sobbing. I haven't been scared for so long.. I almost didn't recognize it crept back up on me. But that's what this is. This is scared. This is helpless.. And confused .. And alone.. And scared."

Gender is unspecified. Taylor may be voiced by either male or female.

Looking for a firm, smooth, medium-pitched voice.

Character will be animated depending on the voice actor/actress.

  • *sarcastic, annoyed* "Let's see. My ship just crashed in the middle of nowhere. No one is hailing on this frequency, and I don't see any survivors other than me.. The least prepared person in existence for this sort of emergency! But I got out of the whole mess with nothing more than a stubbed toe, so things are looking just peachy. Thanks for asking."

  • *frightened, slightly panicking* "Yup, I'm just going to ignore the fact that my directional readout is going crazy... Ignore the fact that my headlamp has suddenly decided to fail for no reason... Ignore the fact that, if there were a soundtrack to this moment, it would be all shrieking violins and heavy breathing..And I'm just going to go right back out the way I- WHAT THE HELL WAS THAT?!"

  • *mesmerized, calm* "We reach into the future for our prey; we fish from the past for our sustenance. We pull starships from every space and time to feed our needs. Still it is not enough. We must bring them all here, from all places and from all times. Until every living thing is our host. And we are within every living thing."
