Life and Times of Scrooge McDuck: Hearts of the Yukon (COMIC DUB)
Project Overview
"Life and Times of Scrooge McDuck" it's an epic comic saga written by Don Rosa, narrating the life of Scrooge McDuck and how he became the richest duck in the world. The saga, composed by 12 episodes, was expanded thoughout the years by Rosa himself who also wrote a series of additional adventures set during the saga itself or connected to it. I've already covered "The prisoner of White Agony Creek", the last story added to this saga and also the last story Rosa wrote. "Hearts of the Yukon" is the direct sequel of this story, and it reprises the two main characters, Scrooge McDuck and "Glittering" Goldie O'Gilt, his flame during the Gold Rush.
This project is about the dubbing of this adventurous story. I'll be handling the video editing myself. In this particular story there are a few character emerging, but a lot of background characters, both male and female, so there's a lot of space! But take note that the two main characters of Scrooge and Goldie are already covered by the two Voice Actors that played them in my previous work.

For anyone who doesn't have Casting Call but wants to audition anyway, I'll soon post this request on the Voice Acting Amino and you'll be given my email to contact me and send me your auditions.
RULES:
1) If you audition, please consider you might be chosen and that in that case you'll have to be fully committed to this project. So please, don't abandon it if there's not a real, serious reason. If you have to abandon for any reason, talk to me privately and tell me, don't abandon me in the middle of the process without saying anything, please.
2) Show emotions: I'll try to give context about the lines you'll have to say, and you'll have to convey all the emotions you can in your auditions. I won't choose people that sound to me like robots.
3) You must have Discord: we'll communicate through it. If you want to talk to me privately, you are free to contact me on my mail.
4) I don't pretend perfect microphones, but I'd prefer ones with little to no noise and no unexpected clicks.
5) Repeat your lines a few times so I can get an idea of your vocal and emotional range.
6 If you're chosen, you'll have to give me some online name to credit, since I (of course) want to recognize each one's job.
7) Be respectful to anyone involved in the project: that can be obvious, but I want everyone that is chosen to be extremely respectful to
If you want to give a look at the dubbing of the previous comic so you can give a look at what I've done, what my video edit anyone. If there are any problems (even with me and\or the way I'm directing the project) please tell me and I'll try sorting them out.
8) Have fun! That's not quite a rule as much as an indication: I want people that are passionate and that like this project, and I hope we'll all get along and that I'll have the chance to meet people that like this story as much as I do.

Audio Engineer
I'll need someone editing the audio, involving not only the voice actor's voices, but the background noises as well. They'll be a lot of noises needed (including, for example, horses clapping and neeing, stuff crushing, a lot of slapstick... -and of course beeping for all of Goldie cursing-), and they should be mixed well with the voices and with the video. I'll handle the music selection myself and its mixing since I always choose the music quite lately in the process.

Voice Actor
A historically existing figure. He's a tough colonel that makes sure the law is respected with zeal. He is feared and reveered by everyone in Dawson, being scared that with him they'll be unable to continue their mishiefous dees (eg gambling). To try and distract him he's hired to capture Scrooge with false accusations.
Despite him being so serious and stiff, he's also the source of comedy, as he's always trying to give a good image of himself as the writer Jack London follows him to register his heroic deeds. Another gag involving him is he trying to find a good slogan that always ends up being a variation of "We always get our man".
I'm looking for a deep and authorative voice that would contrast with the moments in which he's ridiculed but that would give the idea of him being a strong, mighty man.
(introducing himself to the people of Dawson) Attention, citizenry of Dawson City! I am Colonel Samuel Benfield Steele, superintendent of the Northwest mounted police of the Yukon.
(giving orders) Inspector Scarth, take notes! First order of business: find out who is responsible for all this mud, and have him summarily executed!
(After being hit in his face) Sasquatch! (To Mr London) A superintendent of the NWMP does not say "yowtch"! Make a note of it.
Voice Actor
An historical figure. He's the assistant of Colonel Steele and tries to help him bring order in Dawson and capturing Scrooge. He's the one sent to tell McDuck he has to clear out of White Agony Creek. Despite being as zealous as Steele he's a lot less intelligent and mostly serves as a comedy element.
I'm looking for a mid-ranged voice, that sounds not as old and not as decisive as Steele's one. Also, he's significantly younger than the Colonel.
(introducing himself to Scrooge) I'm Inspector William Scarth of the Northwest Mounted Police. I have come to take you to Dawson City to face charges of lawless misconduct!
The fact is that, as official recorder of mining claims, Colonel Steele has rescinded your claim, impounded your gold, and... (Seeing Scrooge is now in shock) Your interest is piqued, I see...
(reporting to the Colonel) Sorry, Colonel... (pant) But some guy ate my hat on the way over and I was rather helpless!
Voice Actor
An historical figure. As a journalist, he's following Steele to record his adventurous deed with some difficulties, as he's constantly self centered. He's also the one Steele look up to write a new motto for the Mounties. He's quite interested in the facts that are happening around him but he always gets caught up in the action, which is definitely not his field.
I'm looking for a mig-ranged voice, with a sort of intelectual feel in it.
(talking to Steele) Er... Colonel! You wanted me to remind you of that Mountie motto you were working on to impress you-know-who!
That must be McDuck, Colonel... But he's not as magnificent looking as the dime-novels show him!
(trying to compromise with Steele, in a sort of condescending way, since that was his initial idea from the beginning) Colonel Steele... Why not compromise with "we always get our MAN"?

A Santa-Claus look-alike that gives Scrooge a sled ride to Dawson.

An unsuccessful gold prospector and friend of Scrooge McDuck during his years in Klondike. He appaers to tell Scrooge that Steele is looking for him in Dawson.

Dawson's citizens, which are deeply involved in this story. All kind of voices are needed for these particular roles, and multiple VAs will be cast and might play multiple roles, as there are a lot of supporting characters in this comic.
Most of these men are trying to get Scrooge charged by Steele.

(seeing real food after a long, long time) Look! (sob) It's a egg! (sob) I've never seen anything so beautiful!
Voice Actor
The girls working with Goldie at the Blackjack Ballroom.. All kind of voices are needed for these particular roles, and multiple VAs will be cast and might play multiple roles.
Most of the women are either performing with Goldie or helping her out in mantaining the Ballroom.
During the comic they mostly moke Goldie for her appaerent crush on Scrooge.
