Project Overview
This is a story about a boy named Alex, who is going through the mental journey of finding yourself. There are also side stories about many of the other characters. By the end, Alex finds himself. Is it a happily ever after? No. But Happily Ever Afters don't happen in real life.
This story does have dark and heavy themes, with some cursing, and would probably be rated PG-13. Specific themes are: Abuse, Animal Abuse, Depression, Anxiety, Various other Mental Health Issues, and Self-Harm.

Alex is an introverted boy, who is struggling mentally. He has a voice in his head, and tries to hide all his emotions from everyone. By the end, however, he finds himself, comes out as Pan, and lives a good life.
Well, Fuck, I’m on the bus again. It’s been a while, how are you? Glad to hear you’re doing fine. Because I’m sure as hell not. Well, hopefully, I can start over again, and make some new memories with you.
Alex:
Let’s just say, the people at United High are very outgoing.
Leslie is a trans woman, so a relatively deep voice is required. She is a caring, sweet woman who loves her family very much, and helps her son with his journey. She is married to Jackie
Leslie: (Serious)
Well, don’t be pressured, honey. Just because you’re different, that doesn’t mean you’re not a good person. I mean, it doesn't mean I’m a bad person, right?
Leslie: (Heading towards door)
Well, dinner will be ready soon, and Mamoo’s on her way home from work. Love you!
ML:
I’ve always loved you too, Jackie.
Jackie is a funny mom, but truly cares for her family. She is married to Leslie
Middle Jackie:
And This is from that time old Uncle Rick got hit with a lemon meringue pie!
Middle Jackie: (Stopped laughing, Leslie isn’t looking)
Oh, and this is from Senior Year, when I went to a Ski Lodge, and crashed into this guy. We ended up rolling down a hill in a giant snowball!
MJ:
Well, I loved you then, and I love you now, even if you’re different.
Morgan is a girl who is very selfish. She wants the best for herself and herself only. She abuses her partner, but at the end of the story, receives help, apologizes, and moves on.
Morgan: (Seemingly Playfull)
Shut up, idiot. The new kids here. I’m sure he wants to hear.
Morgan: (Trying to cover up her outburst)
Sorry Skye, I’m just on edge because (Pause try to think of a lie) because Brittany fell off the waterslide in her backyard.
Skye is a Non-Binary person who is abused by their girlfriend. They are kind and caring, and end up happy.
Skye: (Bored)
Here we go again. We’ve all heard this speech.
Skye:
Cool, Marco! You guys are so cute together.
Yeah! You met me, Morgan, Marco, and Annie at school yesterday! And saw the boring presentation.
Annie is an athletic girl, who is a bit of a braggart. However, she has good intentions, and really loves her girlfriend, Ella.
Annie: (*hyped*)
Alright, alright, we know. Anyways, my day is going great and I’m going to kill it at the game today!
Annie: (*slightly calmer then gets hyped again*)
Guess what, baby? WE’RE GETTING STARRY LATTES FROM GATCHABUCKS AFTER MY WIN TODAY!
Annie:
Shut up, idiots. I’m trying to hear my girlfriend!
Marco is a very energetic boy. He brags about his boyfriend Felix, a lot, but only because he loves him.
Marco: (*with a smug uwu expression*)
I’m going to see my lovely boyfriend later, so I’m staying positive!
Marco:
Yeah, it’s been way too long. Do you have to always be doing work for those shelters? I’m sure they could manage without you sometimes.
Marco: (Excited to finally eat, to Felix)
Come on Boo Boo, let’s go EAT!!!!!!!!!
Ella is a chill, introverted girl, who loves her girlfriend Annie. She sometimes takes on more than she can chew, and is the Student Council Secretary.
Ella:
I found it in the office while I was updating the directory. You know, Secretary stuff.
Ella: (Sad)
Oh, you know, she has a game.
Ella: (Hopeful)
So you’ll do it?
Felix is a chill, introverted boy, in contrast to his boyfriend, Marco. But, he loves him very much. He does a lot of charity work for animals. This is because he had a dog who was abused and eventually killed by his alcoholic dad.
Felix:
I’m Felix. I think you know my boyfriend, Marco.
Felix: (Sweet)
(Chuckles) I bet. But that’s my Marco.
Felix:
Well, you don’t always have to be with me to know that I love you.
Charlie is Alex's tour guide. They are outgoing. They are also Non-Binary
Charlie: (Alex gets startled)
Hey, new kid! I’m your tour guide for the day!
Charlie: (Weirded out)
I said, you’re Alex right?
Charlie:
Oh, it’s ok. Let’s get started!
John is on the Prom Committee, and has a girlfriend named Mary.
John: (Startling Alex, cheery)
Hi, I’m John. And this (Gesturing to Mary) is Mary, my girlfriend.
John:
And we were wondering if you wanted to donate to the prom committee to help fund this year Junior and Senior Proms!
Mary is on the Prom Committee, and later is the Student Council Treasurer. She has a boyfriend named John.
Mary: (Cheery)
Hi!
Mary: (A bit sad)
That’s fine. Thanks for your time!
Dark voice in Alex's head. Gains more and more power, until defeated by Alex.
MV:
To guide you down the right road. And this
(Memory of Felix and Marco kissing, Mom being disgusted. We hear “Cover your eyes” echo in the same way as last time)
Is not the road you want to be going down. How disgusting for anyone to think that this is acceptable. You should not be thinking it’s acceptable. Right?

Principal: (Grateful and appreciative)
