Helllloooo! My name is Jonah and I'm a practicing sound/voice designer. I'm looking to expand my network of voice talents by offering a trade of services. You lend me your voice and I lend you my editing and polishing capabilities as a sound designer. This is all in the name of practice, practice, practice. To get where I'd like to be I need to put in the hours in spicing and sprucing up voices so here I am putting in the hours and trying to find willing people with similar goals. To be clear I'm looking to work on small clips with voice actors that want to add refined or stylized work to their reel. Want to be a werewolf looking for their lost pack? Lets give it a try? Want to embody an ancient celestial being possessed by three mortal children. Why not? Want to set up an assassin infiltrating a board room meeting right before lopping an executive's head off. Step right up. We can use this to be experimental or double down on something you really want to nail. I'm also not one to keep quiet with ideas and notes to get performances better so I can help with the conceptualization and consideration of the end result if need be. With all of that said and if this interests you these are the parameters that I've loosely setup.
The clip must be:
-between 15-30 seconds long.
-you will have to embody all characters present in the clip.
-It can be your own original clip idea or a scene from a game/movie/series
-profanity is allowed but nothing too graphic (we can discuss) Horror scenes are cool tho!
In terms of pipeline this is what I had in mind:
1) I choose a few people to work with (4 max)
2) We setup a start and end date to work on something with an associated clip and goals
3) They send me something to work on.
4) I work on said thing
5) We review and decide on whether it works or not
6) We both have a clip that we're happy with and can add to our portfolio.
My portfolio is on youtube and Instagram as well if you'd like to background check me. My limit is four people but I can keep people in mind if I decide to do this again. All right! Looking forward to working with you!
