LET'S DUB: Fire Emblem: Path of Radiance (Chapters 8-17) — RECASTING
Project Overview
Hello, everybody. This is a partial redo of the second casting call for a Let's Dub of Fire Emblem: Path of Radiance, covering the characters who first appear in chapters 8-17 but I couldn't find appropriate choices for last time.
What's a Let's Dub, you ask? Well, it's what you get when you take out the unimportant or otherwise boring parts of gameplay (long pauses in strategy, unnecessary math, etc.) and edit together the good parts into a movie-esque YouTube thingy. Story and voice acting included.
For those of you who don't know, Fire Emblem: Path of Radiance is the ninth game in the Fire Emblem series, a bunch of turn-based strategy RPGs in fantasy settings. This game takes place in the land of Tellius, which is populated by beorc (humans) and laguz (humanoids who can change into animals and back again). One day, the beorc nation Daein attacks neighboring Crimea, killing off most of the royal family and causing the survivors to flee. Among the major players are the Greil Mercenaries, featuring a swordsman named Ike, who will one day rise up and lead the effort to retake Crimea from Daein.
That's where you people come in. I'll record the gameplay, and if you're selected for the roles you audition for, you'll dub for the characters you play. Feel free to ad lib battle efforts as well. Attack grunts, pain grunts, mid-fight skill activation banter, death cries, etc. Apart from minor characters, like bosses, the roles listed are in the order that they appear in-game. As for voice references, you don't have to match the voices exactly; what's more important is your ability to act overall. Also, if selected, you'll be invited to a small Discord server related to the project, so having a Discord handle is a must.
There will also be custom background music edited in.
When auditioning, please consider the following:
- Respect: Please show respect towards the directors and the other cast members. We will not tolerate rude behavior.
- Mic Quality: Please do not have any white noise, background sounds, etc…
- Acting: Please show emotion in your auditions. Acting is very important to bring a character to life.
- Have Fun! This project was designed to help expand actor’s horizons and also for them to have fun.

Brom is a villager from Ohma who joined the town militia and was imprisoned at Canteus Castle for his troubles.
He's a down-to-earth man who dislikes war and violence but will stand and fight to protect his family whenever necessary. Apparently, he's rather sensitive as well.

Nephenee is a villager from Ohma who joined the town militia and was imprisoned at Canteus Castle for her troubles.
She's a capable soldier but suffers from low self-esteem, often putting herself down and trying to hide her face and country speech from others aside from fellow country dwellers like Brom.

Jill is a soldier from the Talrega region of Daein and aspires to be a famed wyvern rider like her father, Shiharam.
She's a person of many self-doubts, such as the way she was raised to believe that laguz were evil, but nonetheless seeks to stand by her convictions, whatever they may turn into.

...I have a duty. As a Daein soldier, I cannot allow a Crimean princess and her band of mercenaries to run free where they will.
No one wants to share the table with a Daein soldier. It would ruin the meal.
Nealuchi is an elderly chamberlain of the raven clan and advisor to Naesala—whom he constantly calls Nestling.
He's a doting old person who is fond of House Serenes and its survival. Unlike other ravens, he detests the skullduggery that Naesala practices and encourages his people to do for the sake of Kilvas.

Makalov is Marcia's guppy-brained lout of an older brother, constantly in debt and on the run.
He's a self-indulgent, careless person with no common sense or apparent ability to improve, even at gambling. At the very least, he admits that he's a loser and does deeply care for his sister.

Stefan is a hermit in the Grann Desert and a peerless swordfighter.
He's a loner who understands and questions matters of life from a broader perspective. Being a swordmaster among swordmasters, he's confident in his ability and assessment of others.

Tormod is the leader of an underground laguz emancipation group, working to free laguz from slavery.
He's an enthusiastic, headstrong person with a strong sense of justice, even if he can be rather arrogant. Having grown up with Muarim, a former slave, he shows deep respect for the laguz.

Muarim is a former laguz slave and Tormod's caretaker and closest friend and ally.
He's an honorable person, seeking to protect those around him whom he feels he can trust. He's quick to apologize for his mistakes and accept reprimands, owing to his former life as a slave.

Aimee is a shopkeeper and a member of the merchant caravan led by Muston.

Kurthnaga is the prince of Goldoa, the mountainous nation of the dragon clans.
He's a soft-spoken, well-mannered person with boundless curiosity and longing to see the outside world despite Goldoa's isolationist policies. He also has a strong sense of justice and therefore willingness to help others in need.
