Leo/Need Project sekai fandub casting call
Project Overview
This project is a fandub of the Leo/Need main story from the game Hasume Miku: Colorful Stage (Also known as Project Sekai).
Here are some guidelines and things you should know.
- Please include your discord info! My discord is Zeela.x if needed.
- Preferably 13+ in age, but I don't really care much about it
- Have a good mic. I can only fix so much!
- Little to no background noise.
- Be able to voice act! (Obviously)
- Please be able to understand if I need you to re-record something.
- Be able to meet deadlines and commit to the project! I'm willing to negotiate deadlines if need be, but eventually things will have to get done.
- Be respectful of any and all decisions made.
In the description of your audition, please add your stage name, age(optional), and discord username and tag.
The reason I'm not casting other groups is because it's going to be too much. I just don't think I can handle too many projects at once. However, they will come eventually so keep an eye out in the future for other characters!
If you're auditioning for one of the main characters, please understand that this is a long-term project and not quit in the middle, because I still need you!

Since Miku is a virtual singer who’s different in each Sekai with different tones, voices, and emotions, I want to have different VAs for her in each sekai

Miku: I'll need to practice even harder if I'm going to be of any help. I'm kind of like everyone's senior in this place, after all. Hm... A senior... More like a senpai… I wonder if I should start acting more like one… But how do I do that? When I think of a senpai, I imagine someone more composed. Someone you can rely on whenever you need advice. Maybe someone like Luka?
Miku: Phew… That was a good first step. I'm so glad the four of them got to perform together. It did turn into a bit of an argument at the end there… But I'm sure everything will be just fine! Saki said she wouldn't ever give up. Ichika doesn't seem like she's about to give up, either. I've got to work even harder to make sure everyone can find their true feelings again.
Miku: I... I just really enjoyed singing together with them. I wonder what songs they're going to create next. It'll be exciting to find out! … Oh… What a beautiful shooting star!
Her voice is on the medium high, but more on the higher side. Not especially soft, but slightly on the softer side.

(Narration) I had some childhood friends I was really close with. Our personalities were worlds apart, but we always had a lot of fun together. The four of us got along really well. That's why everyone readily agreed to my suggestion to form a band. The starlit sky we saw on the way back from our first practice session was so beautiful.
Little Ichika: Hey... everyone... I just wanted to say thank you. Thanks for going along with my sudden suggestion to form a band and play some Miku songs… Also... If you don't mind, can we do this again?
Ichika: Shiho… (I didn't manage to talk with her yet again.. When did I start becoming so awkward around Honami and Shiho? And Saki is...) Is this how it's all going to end? We'll just graduate and split up without ever speaking to each other again?

I'll never forget how beautiful the sky looked back when we saw that meteor shower… Another shooting star! Well, might as well make a wish! I wish that the four of us will be able to see a beautiful meteor shower again…
Saki: *Sob*... Haha, your eyes are red from crying, guys.
Honami Mochizuki
High and soft voice.

I was so afraid it would happen again in high school, so I did everything I could not to upset the few people in my class who were nice to me. I acted as if you weren't my friends any more, even though that hurt you...
Her voice should be medium-low, a bit more on the lower side. She’s sort of tomboy-ish?

Shiho: ..... That Untitled song appeared on my phone out of nowhere. You have it too? Miku called that world a place made from our feelings. Sounds like nonsense, but what if it's true? Do you have strong feelings, too? The same kind of feelings as Ichika and Saki?
Shiho: You're only thinking about protecting your own feelings. You're so scared someone will hurt you that you prefer to run away when things get difficult. … You don't know? Really? You made Saki cry, you realize that, don't you?! … Right. So it's clear, you don't give a damn about us.
Her voice should be somewhat mature, and range should be medium. Think “Older sister”.
