LEGO Star Wars: Escape from Kashyyyk
Project Overview
In 2014, I created a Star Wars Brickfilm called "LEGO Star Wars: Battle on Kashyyyk." (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KKAD0AhLWKQ)
"Battle on Kashyyyk" quickly became my most popular video, and currently has over 160,000 views. Two sequels, titled "LEGO Star Wars: Escape from Kashyyyk" and "LEGO Star Wars: Return to Kashyyyk" which will continue the adventures of Blade and Sparker during the Imperial Era. While these two characters are being carried over from the first film, there are many new supporting characters and villains in these two sequels. They will be shot back-to-back for release in 2017, and are expected to be around a half hour each like the first film was.

A Synopsis of the First Film (Spoiler Warning)
The first film was about a team of Clone Troopers during the titular battle, but centered around two clones nicknamed Sparker and Blade. Sparker was a part of a strike team sent to destroy a prototype Kaiburr-Based Superweapon on an island on Kashyyyk inhabited by the droids. At the end of the film, Blade, revealed that the two of them were part of an experimental program that resulted in them being born without Inhibitor Chips. Blade would use his free will to reason that Order 66 was wrong, and he figured out when it would be coming. He had betrayed the republic and now wanted Sparker to escape with him. Sparker, refusing to believe what he had thought about his life was a lie, refuses and destroys the superweapon, which causes a massive explosion that trapped himself, his former friend, as well as several prisoners and Separatist leaders below the surface.
These two sequels will take place over 15 years later, where Sparker wakes up from a coma in a galaxy now controlled by an evil Empire, an Empire Blade tried to warn him about. Everything he loved has been taken from him, Sparker must learn to cope with a future he attempted to give his life to prevent.

Resthe Wavefall is the commander of the Kashyyyk Resistance: a small band of survivors that have been trapped underground for many years. Resthe is a wise and just leader, who leads provides the Resistance with hope of escape. Wavefall is a supporting character, with a medium-sized role. Other than that, the character's physical appearance, voice, species, and gender are yet to be determined. Anyone can audition for this part.

The character is a neimoidian, a species who in official Star Wars Media has a very distinctive accent. This can be taken into account, however I strongly encourage you put your own spin on it. Unlike many others of his kind, Sib is a loyal to his friends though somewhat timid. He has suffered prejudice all of his life due to the actions many of his race had in the Clone Wars. This is a very large part, as Sib has the biggest role of the new main characters.

A mid-level member of the Kashyyyk Resistance who has spent his days chopping through rocks to try and find the surface of the caverns beneath Kashyyyk. Like many members of the Kashyyyk Resistance, Marmas bears a strong hatred towards Sparker due to his responsibility in the Resistance's predicament. Marmas is a good friend of Lechando Sprang. Like Resthe Wavefall, Yildun's design, species, and gender are yet to be determined. The actor has great freedom in choosing the specifics. Marmas is a supporting character, with a medium-sized role.

Organa is a founding member of the Rebel Alliance, played by Jimmy Smits in the Star Wars Prequels and soon Rouge One: A Star Wars Story. The voice should be based upon Smits' performance in those films.
Then we must make our move if the rebellion is to survive.

Tarkin is the main antagonist of Escape from Kashyyyk. The character is originally from official Star Wars lore: first appearing in the original film. He's a cruel and calculating military commander, who shows no mercy to his victims. Played by Peter Cushing in the original film, he needs a distinct British accent in this project.
Oh, we can, and we will. Soon, we shall have the power to destroy entire planets at the push of a button.

An Imperial Officer who, despite having a destiny seemingly preset for him, betrays the Empire and befriends our heroes. He will become a major character. Despite being born into serving evil, he has good intentions and a bold heart. The kind of voice he has is completely open to the actor.
I've seen the error of my ways. I want to make a difference and join the Rebel Alliance.
I'm done with the Empire, and with you.
I've been trying to get away from the Empire for a long time, and I think you may be my way out.

A mid-level member of the Kashyyyk Resistance who has spent his days chopping through rocks to try and find the surface of the caverns beneath Kashyyyk. Like many members of the Kashyyyk Resistance, he bears a strong hatred towards Sparker due to his responsibility in the Resistance's predicament. He is a friend of Yildun Marmas, and despite having a similar type of role to Marmas he ultimately has less screen time than his friend. Sprang is more than an extra, but only has a few lines. Lechando is a male alien, but his design and species are yet to be determined. It's mostly up to the actor how he is to be portraye.

There are many nameless stormtroopers in the two films, each with one or two lines. Their lines in the films are fairly situational/dive into spoiler territory, so for the audition lines I used lines from A New Hope and The Force Awakens.

A Wookie scout who acts as a guide to the heroes. Lakawarro one of the main five characters, but all of his lines are in Wookie. Sib Dofine acts as a translator for this character. The requirements for this role are fairly simplistic: you need to be able to growl like a Wookie to varying tones and levels of emotion. I am considering using stock audio for this character, but I'd much prefer to have a human to really emote in these growls.
