LEGO Batman Endurance- Looking for a Two Face and Thug voice (stopmotion animation)

LEGO Batman Endurance- Looking for a Two Face and Thug voice (stopmotion animation)

Project Overview

About the film.
The film will depict a Batman struggling to remain motivated after a number of years; he is questioning whether his efforts have improved Gotham city or are merely maintaining a cycle of chaos. His fears of his lack of purpose seem to be validated when after only one day of finally locking all of his Rogues Gallery away in Black Gate and Arkham they all escape at once unleashing a huge crime wave upon Gotham. Bruce is then confronted with the decision whether to continue his war on crime, perhaps only for the same cyclical results, or to fall into apathy...

Where will the film be shown?
The film will be around 10 minutes and uploaded to my YouTube Channel - The Brick Den.

When will the film be released?
The film will not be released for sometime as I am auditioning for voices early on in production; they will help tremendously with the animation. However I expect to have the film released by the end of this year or early next year.

What happens when I receive the role?
I will send you, via e-mail, a copy of the script and a separate document with guidance on all of Two Face's lines.  I will also be always readily available if any additional guidance is needed or you have any questions.

How will I be credited?
If you receive the role you will be credited in both the end of the video and the description. You can choose to be credited with: user name, real name, YouTube channel name, etc.

Two Face/ Harvey Dent

Role assigned to: MrJustice

Two Face is the primary antagonist of the film.

I'm looking for a Two Face/ Harvey Dent similar to Aron Eckhart form The Dark Knight, where there isn't two distinct different voices.

However I am open to a different interpretation, if you would like to do two different voices try to make the Two Face not over the top and crazy but instead intimidating and sinister, make the difference between the two quite subtle.

All lines take place in a bar, where Bruce Wayne has gone to drink away his sorrows, Two Face follows Bruce to the bar and sits next to him; he believes Bruce could lead him to the Batman.

Line 1:Harvey Dent (Bruce doesn't realise it's Harvey/ Two Face as he has his back to him, Harvey is attempting to make conversation and find out if Bruce knows anything about Batman's whereabouts. But at this point it is seemingly only small talk.)
Line 2: Two Face (Describing his coin in an intimidating and purposefull tone of voice.)
Line 3: Two Face (Before realising Wayne has escaped there should be an awkward pause. Then when he realises he should be furious and loud but then return to a controlled evil from "Well I bet you thought yourself lucky")

  • Well if you find and kill the Bat you might be… 10 billion dollars richer, although it ain’t about da money for me. Nah, I just got a bone to pick with the bat and on a night like this I got to get to him before the rest of ‘em. But tonight he’s a no show.

  • Non-discriminatory, impartial- the law of averages.

  • I’m afraid Wayne that time’s up, so then got any words to tell us, if you do this’ll be the last person’s life you’ll put to chance… Wayne? (Realises he has left) What! (Looks at thugs) Go and find him. (Looking back at victim) Well I bet you thought yourself lucky, not yet, we can’t let you off the hook. So then… (throws coin)

Role assigned to: MrJustice

This thug is a leader of gang. He is overconfident and should speek with a relatively rough, but still intimidating, accent.

Please note that due to this role only having 4 lines you may only need to record one additional line if chosen.

  • All right boys can we pick up the pace? We've got to get these crates shifted.

  • (Stern and assertive) Otis, Rick! Go check it out.

  • So you want to dance Bat, we know the drill, I ain't afraid of you flying rat.
