Character: I'm sure you know who Batman is. When the show begins, he's already been Batman for a while, and he's just taken Dick Grayson under his wing as Robin.
Afraid? Batman's not afraid of anything.(As Batman)
I have a job for you. It may be the most important thing you'll ever do.(As Bruce Wayne)
Everything's impossible until somebody does it.(As Both)
Character: Bruce Wayne took him in after Tony Zucco killed his parents. After finding out that Bruce is Batman, Bruce has been training Dick to join him in the field. When the show starts, Dick is only just starting his adventures as Robin.
Voice: A teen, male voice, with a North American accent.
Lives are in jeopardy. And life trumps death every time.
When you die in Gotham, going to hell is considered a promotion.
Be careful, Batman. They're wearing sunglasses at night, which means they're very cool.
Character: GCPD Commissioner James Gordon is an associate of the Batman, assisting him in several of his missions.
I don't know if I can protect you on this one.
I understand you're working with a young partner now. I'd like to meet him sometime.
The signal goes on and he shows up. That's the way it's been and that's the way it will be. Anything else about the man I couldn't tell you.
Character: Alfred is the butler of Bruce Wayne and his ward Dick Grayson. He technologically assists Batman & Robin during their missions.
To say that murder is immoral is too vague. Killing, even once, even with reasons, strips you of your humanity.
Will you be home in time for dinner this evening, Master Bruce?
If there were a thousand Batmen, sir, it still wouldn't be enough to save Gotham City.
Character: Sarah Essen is a GCPD Detective who works closely with Jim Gordon.
You're a vigilante, Batman. You should be locked up.
For all you know, the Batman could change on a regular basis, and you've dealt with five of them. Maybe the only constant has been the costume.
Now you're going to pull the noble routine on me, Jim?
Character: The Dealer is a criminal who steals equipment from previous Batman villains, and sells them in auctions.
Ah, Batman. We've been waiting for you.
Our next piece up for auction, is the serum which Professor Kirk Langstrom created to turn himself into the Man-Bat.
Well then, Batman. I believe it's time to see who is under that mask of yours.
Character: Lester Buchinsky is a criminal who buys an electric weapon from The Dealer. He uses the weapon in crimes, that force him to cross paths with Batman & Robin.
I'm gonna kill you. Then I'm gonna jump-start your heart, and kill you again.
Who the hell are you?
You just saved me a lot of trouble coming here, Bats.
Character: Jack Ryder is a news anchor for WGBS News. He is a rather arrogant character, who will go to any length to get a scoop, even getting himself into danger. This character also appears in my Flash series, but only as a cameo for WGBS News.
This eye witness footage appears to show a new vigilante working alongside the Batman. It seems as though the new crime-fighter is a young sidekick to Gotham's caped crusader.(News anchor voice)
My name's Jack Ryder, signing off here at WGBS News.(News anchor voice)
You can't stop me Batman. I'm going to get my story, one way or another.(Non-news anchor voice)
Character: James Jr. is the son of Commissioner James Gordon. He only appears in one scene during the first episode, to tease his appearances in the rest of the season.
You see, this city is special, dad. It is a city of nightmares. And I'm yours. I'm the face you see in the glass. A man with no conscience. No empathy.
Character: Just a regular thug. Could turn into a more prominent role.
Voice: Masculine voice. Any accent.
Who the hell are you supposed to be, kid?
It's the Batman! We gotta get outta here!
