Overview
Legends of Elderwild is an original musical adventure set in the same whimsical world as the Pugs & Potions card game. This musical contains the entire cast from P&P, as well as a greatly extended cast of characters from all of the eight regions that are not showcased in the game. This specific casting call is only focused on the original cast from P&P, and we will be releasing a second casting call for the rest of the characters once our first three concept albums are finished!
Our protagonist, Erina, has been waiting for what feels like an eternity. And now, her best friend Bauble is graduating from the Pugspell academy, allowing her to qualify to join the bi-annual Pugspell tourney with Erina. The goal is to become a Mage Lord like her mother before her with the intention of making peace with Yipton (the only one of the nine tails that is an enemy of Snoutshire).
Act I: Where Dreams BeginAct I follows Erina’s excitement and anxieties as she rushes to build a qualifying team to join her very first tourney.
Act II: Behind BannersAct II moves behind the scenes, exploring the identities and ambitions of the many teams participating in this tourney.
Act III: Shape of StruggleAct III kicks off with the beginning of the actual tournament before building up into multiple conflicts that will unfold throughout the future albums to come. Erina’s team struggles to work together, face personal challenges, and compete against rival squads with wildly different magic styles.
This musical blends fantasy adventure, heartfelt character arcs, high-energy ensemble numbers, and emotional solos. It’s full of colorful magic, sweeping lore, and the charm of finding your own place in a world much bigger than what was imagined.
