Synopsis: An American railroad is being terrorized by a vengeful ghost train, and the lives of innocent engines and people are put in danger.

The project is expected to be completed around May or June, but it may take longer.

Hello all, I wanted to take the time to say thank you to all the voice actors who auditioned. You all did very well and am pleased that you were able to take part in this project. Without you this project would not have moved forward and would have been stuck in development hell. But I am pleased to announce that the project is going slowly but surely ahead, unfortunately this means that the casting call is now Closed. I will be voicing Jebediah, mainly because I want to go ahead and move on since all of the other roles were cast. A reminder for the voice actors: the deadline for lines is March 31st. During this time I want to go ahead and take a look at the scripts I sent you and try to get into the mindset of your characters before you send me your lines. You can either send them to me via message or through my email: [email protected]. Here is the playlist for the character reveals if you want to see what the characters look like. Daniel's has not yet been done as I want that to be done when the set is ready. I apologize for the crappy cinematography in these. Don't worry, the actual finished product will look nothing like this. https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLYpB42P5exezIIJj_-78qsx-50GUMsDXd Hope to hear from you guys soon, and again thank you for participating. I will try to post production updates when I can. -Rhys Griffin The Director

Jebediah is an old steam engine who has lost all hope of survival for his kind, and has become rather grumpy because of it. But he can be kind to those who respect him. For his voice I'm looking for an old man in his 50s or 60s, or something that sounds like it. The first line needs to have a gruff or grouchy attitude, while the second is more hopeful.

  • At least I'm not a pompous asshole who has no respect for his elders!

  • Thanks youngster. That may just be the nicest thing anyone has ever said to me in a long time.

Paul is the secondary antagonist. He's resentful of steam engines and sees them as dead weight to the future. For his voice, I need someone who can portray a man in his 30s with arrogance. The line that is spoken needs to sound accusational, as it takes place during a heated argument.

  • But you didn't, did you? You always had it out for us diesels! You know that we are superior, that I am superior, to you!

Kimberley is the new freight diesel. She respects her elders heavily and does not tolerate bullies of any sort. She sees Jebediah as a role model. For her voice I want a female in her early to mid 20s, or what can sound like it. In this line, she is expressing worry as Jebediah is about to do something risky.

  • I don't know what you're planning, but please don't get yourself killed. This railroad needs you, and I need you too.

A vengeful spirit who sees man and diesel as evil, and claims that they deserve to be punished. For his voice, I'm looking for a standard adult male voice, but with a bit of hatred thrown in. This character has a lot on his mind, and could blow his top any moment.

  • When I left this Earth, I never truly passed on. I knew that there was something I had to do. I had to punish the men who sentenced my kind to death!

An old steam engine sentenced to scrap that claims to have seen a ghost. Many assume he's gone crazy due to his position. He needs to sound like a crazy old man who's sure he's seen a ghost.

  • The ghost! He's come for us all! I've seen him! Pale as death itself! You'd better watch yourself Jebediah! He's looking for you!

Morty is a former military shunter that works in the scrap yards shunting engines into the scrap siding. He has a lot of remorse for what he does as he has seen to much death and dreads causing it, but has no choice in the matter as it's his job. Morty can be any age, but he needs to have a Brooklyn accent, and sound a bit sorrowful yet irritated.

  • Come on old man, do you think I like doing this to ya? Please don't make this harder for me.

The manager of the railroad. His job is to keep the engines in line and make sure they behave themselves.

  • Stow it you two! Now that that's out of the way, I'd like to introduce you to our new engine.
