In "The Promised Neverland," without spoiling anything, a group of kids find out that what they THOUGHT was truth, ISN'T truth, and they then resolve to find a NEW truth, overcoming a lot of trials and tribulations along the way. I'll go ahead and get this out of the way, however — this clipdub is from one of the most dramatic scenes of The Promised Neverland's sixth episode, so while there will be no spoilers in this audition process, if you're cast, you'll need to either be caught up to at least the sixth episode, or you'll need to not care about spoilers.
In "Learning to Trust," our three heroes Emma, Norman and Ray are forced to confront two other children, Don and Gilda, about a tiny white lie they told, and in case my sarcasm isn't translating through the screen, it's not a tiny white lie at all — fists are thrown and tears are shed.
I will be very particular about who is cast in this project. I am aware that fandubs are technically in a legal gray area, and as such can't / shouldn't go in one's demo / resume, but that doesn't change the fact that I want this clip to sound as good as it can. I will be judging your auditions primarily on acting ability, but brownie points will be added if your recordings are near-flawless in terms of quality. I don't mean to sound standoffish up front, but I do want to make sure everyone is aware of how I'll be approaching this.

Ray is one of the protagonists of The Promised Neverland alongside Emma and Norman. Initially, Ray appeared as an aloof and introverted individual who was often seen with his head buried in a book instead of socializing with the other orphans in Grace Field House. Despite his distant disposition, Ray is able to interact well with the orphans and is fiercely loyal and caring to them, particularly Emma and Norman
