Welcome to the world of Generational Beats.
We are only accepting people who are 17+ due to the topics of the show
A Satire of Trashy teen drama with a mix of Musical Theater. Lane 406 focuses on the Latino representation in the media and how it can affect people's view of us. Using the normal high school tropes to tell a story on how a stereotype doesn't have to define a person but also acknowledges that the stereotype can still exist in the person but doesn’t have to be the main focus. The main reason I chose a musical is mainly for my love for musicals but also theater has a big impact on this show. When I was starting to develop this show in my head, I was doing a production of Chicago for my school's theater department and seeing a topic about murder, adultery, and the corrupt justice system taking in a whole new direction of the style of jazz musical act. I felt like musicals can be a creative outlook on dark topics in life. Another thing I also want to focus on is queer representation of Latinos or the lack of. I feel like there has been a boost of both queer and Latino representation but not enough Queer Latino representation in the media and I hope with this show I can change that.
I am currently just looking for temporary voice actors and artists. Just so we can get ready or just so I can get ready for the kickstart. I'm planning to make it hopefully in the upcoming year or so. This is fully gonna be unpaid. No one's making any money for me not even me and once it does start getting money at some point I will start paying people, but until I start getting money, no one's getting money. I'm currently looking for a songwriter to work with for the pilot and an artist I can get some sketches from more information in your descriptions.
I want to fully hesitate that is a Latino focus project there are gonna be roles for everyone, but for the main roles, this is a Latino base so that's why you're very encouraged to audition.

Paz is a nonbinary Mexican-American [AMAB] who is dealing with their gender and trying to tell people their gender identity as it is flying through people's heads one way in and out the other. At the same time, they can be a little pushover at times. Their anger issues can cause that mix to cause some events. While they can be nice to people, they can have a lot of hate in their head. They also seem to have a god (Atlàs) Haunting them while they deal with a full Identity crisis.
