Hello, all! We're looking for voice actors for our Abridged series of Konosuba.  The voice roles will be of Aqua, Wiz, Eris/Chris, and a couple of background characters. This Abridged project is a mini-series that will run on our Thousand Beast Ensemble channel, which a link to that is above! As this is a fan-project and not for profit, this will be an unpaid role. Thanks to everyone that auditions, and be sure to leave your Discord and/or social media username for contact!

Roles may be added to this casting call in the near future so stay tuned!

REQUIREMENTS 

1. Have a decent microphone (XLR preferred, but USB can work if you make it sound good)

2. You can edit your audition lines if you prefer, but if you upload them raw (no editing, noise removal, bass boost, etc.) that is fine as well. Just try not to have any reverb. 

3. Be at least 18 years old. There are a few adult-oriented jokes and a bit of swearing in these videos.

4. Be able to use Discord for directing purposes, as well as be open to direction/live directing.

5. Audition with 3 takes of each line, or attach your demo reel along with it if you think you can do the voice needed. 

6. Be committed! This character will show up more in the future, so just an open line of communication for the project is needed, or be open to joining our project's discord group.

  • Hiatus

    Hello everyone! Thank you for auditioning for the Konosuba project! I'm so proud of your efforts. Unfortunately, due to recent events, I have to place the project in hiatus for the time being. The project will still be up for auditioning, in fact, I'm going to significantly extend the deadline. I will also be adding additional parts such as potentially Kazuma, Darkness and Megumin along with other characters as time goes on. However as for now, other than Eris/Chris being cast, I will not be casting anyone until the hiatus is over. Thank you all for your time and effort, every bit of it is appreciated. -MaxHenderson273

  • (Declaration) "This is the hair and face of a goddess, I will not subject myself to the clothing of peasants!"

  • (Disgusted) "Excuse you! I am a goddess, I have the right to not place my faith in the degenerates who waste their hard-earned money on busty anime waifu figurines and PNGs of said waifus on god damn gacha games!"

Wiz attempts to lay her old life as a demon commander to rest as she holds down a job as the local shopkeep of magical items.  Wiz has a kind and soft-spoken personality with the occasional grimacing tone whenever someone crosses her or her friends.

  • (Advertising, Cheerful) "Whenever you are in need of any magical solutions, be sure to visit Wiz's Emporium for Magical Sundries."

  • (Embarrassed) "K-Kazuma...I do not wish to be impertinent, but have you satisfied your wish yet...?

  • (Vengeful, Angry) "I'm glad you've had your fill of inflicting misery, it'll be all the more satisfying when I tear your soul apart."

Eris is the goddess who succeeds Aqua's position when Kazuma chooses her as his item, she is soft-spoken and kind, holding a hint of contempt for Aqua.

Chris is the human form who slums it as a thief, acting as mentor and punchline to Kazuma's skills and antics, sporting a fake aussie accent to blend in with the locals."

  • (Softspoken, Declaration) "I shall grant you a second chance at life Satou Kazuma, but for my sake, please try not to die again."

  • (Confident, Fake Aussie Accent) "I'd say that you should give thievery a fair shake, it's not every day a bloody outsider rolls through this town."

  • (Smug) "I wish you luck on your endeavor, Aqua. Consider this your punishment for what you did to me."

I need some Voice Actors to pull off either a fake Aussie Accent or genuine Aussie Accent for the background characters in this abridge.

Note: You may adlib as long as it is performed with a variation of the Aussie accent.

Second Note: I will give you a c-word pass as a genuine Aussie.

  • (Aloud, distant) "Oi ya C*nt! I’ve only watched the first bloody season!"
