Project Overview
I am producing a rap battle between the main characters of the anime Lucky Star and Himouto! Umaru-chan.
The video and audio for this project is already very near completion. I am looking for to make an emergency recast of the characters Tsukasa Hiiragi and Kirie Motoba, as the previous voice actor for them has unfortunately fallen ill and is unable to make the original final deadline for the project.
The project is a song approximately 2 minutes and 30 seconds in length.
Those who are interested and willing to participate in this project should ideally:
Be already familiar with the source material (both anime) franchises, but this is optional!
Be able to communicate over Discord
Be proficient and skillful in rapping ability whilst maintaining their respective character role(s)
Have a good, high quality microphone that works well for musical vocal mixing
This project will be in English but it will contain some Japanese words and phrases!
This project will be publicly published on the platforms of YouTube and Spotify.
Since I am currently a university student, I don't have a large budget, but I can't in good conscious list this project as a non-profit project, since it will at the very least make a little bit of revenue from Spotify streams. If those who end up being casted wish to be paid for their work (most likely excluding the very minor cameo roles), please don't hesitate to discuss payment with me!

Before auditioning, please note that a good microphone is essential for this project.
You will be portraying two characters. Both characters involve energetic chanting and very brief sections of singing. The song is decently up-tempo so decent rapping ability is to be asked for!
Tsukasa Hiiragi from Lucky Star is a soft, cutesy, but decently firmly spoken schoolgirl. Listen here for how she sounds in the English dub of Lucky Star.
Kirie Motoba from Himouto! Umaru-chan is a slightly deeper toned, somewhat exasperated and a little aggressive schoolgirl. Take a listen here to see how she sounds in the original Japanese dub of Umaru-chan - note - she will not be as exasperated in this role
