Daniel Ketch, the Ghost Rider from the 1990s, RIDES AGAIN in this new audio drama series complete with sound effects and full VO work from various actors based on characters from the Marvel Comics universe!
Danny did not want to become a Ghost Rider. He was attempting to escape from some gang members when he came across the motorcycle that transformed him into the Spirit of Vengeance. This particular series will be drawing on the first 3 issues of Ghost Rider Vol #3 (the Howard Mackie run) for the first 3 episodes, covering Danny's origin and first challenge as Ghost Rider, before branching out into more of an original story that will focus on a demonic invasion of New York and Danny, along with his allies, attempting to put a stop to it. Some stories and story elements from the 90s comics have the possibility of being adapted/changed slightly to fit the story we are trying to tell.
The role of Danny has already been filled as well as the role of Black Widow (who will make an appearance later)
RULES:
1. 17 yrs or older. This is intended for a more mature audience

3. Please try to have no background noise in your auditions. Submissions with noticeable background noise will not be considered

The narrator of the story. This role can be either Male or Female but needs to have an authoritative voice. Don't go over the top as your normal speaking voice would probably do just nicely. I'm open for anything that's not that super demonic voice from DOOM.
This man is Daniel Ketch. He is a young man in his early 20s with an average build and short brown hair. He’s wearing faded blue jeans and a light jacket
Danny’s blood soaked hands touch the bikes gas cap. Suddenly he finds that he can’t remove his hand from the bike. Pain erupts through Danny’s body. The glow from the bike seems to be setting him on fire from the inside. He can’t remember where he is or who he’s with. Only agony and the sudden desire for vengeance. He can’t do anything, the only thing Danny can do now...is scream

You know who this is! The Ghost Rider from the 70s and 80s! He's back with a vengeance and will act as Danny's mentor throughout the series. He will start off as just human and his original intent was to kill Danny as he believed that the Ghost Rider that emerged in NY was Zarathos. Eventually, Zarathos will become bonded to him once again and he will join Danny in stopping the demonic invasion of NY with other allies. In time, he will find out that Danny and Barbara are his long lost siblings and that Barbara was supposed to be the Ghost Rider and not Danny.
For his human voice, he's a tad older than Danny, so like early to mid 30s sounding should be what you shoot for. For his Ghost Rider voice, DO NOT do an impression of Fred Tatasciore. Danny's Ghost Rider will sound like the Richard Greico's (UMvC3) version of the character. You can do anything as long as you do not sound like how GR does in MvC: Infinite or Ultimate Alliance 3.

Barbara is Danny's older sister. She was intended to become the Ghost Rider but was gravely injured before Danny transformed. She is the person Danny trusts the most and was always there to talk to him whenever he was feeling down or needed guidance. She gets attacked and wounded very early on before getting murdered by Danny's arch enemy but in this series, Danny will experience dream like visions of her when he's feeling lost. There's also a very interesting "What if?" storyline we may be exploring
She should sound just like a young woman would in her 20s...just don't do that valley girl voice please

Danny's girlfriend who is currently a NYPD officer. She is part of her father's task force in hunting the "flame helmet guy." She has known Danny and Barbara since they were all kids and has liked Danny since she was 10 (the feeling was mutual). She soon learns that the Ghost Rider is more human than she initially thought and fights alongside him and Johnny.
She should sound like a young woman in her 20s

Deathwatch poses in the mortal world as crime boss Stephen Lords. Deathwatch's major scheme involved a large amount of a potent biotoxin, enough to devastate NY and NJ A rival gang had stolen the canisters and hid out in the Cypress Hills Cemetery. Deathwatch ordered his ninjas and Blackout to go after them and regain the canisters. In the ensuing firefight Ghost Rider emerged. Deathwatch ordered Barbara Ketch's murder and other events to try and draw the Ghost Rider out. He also tried to reclaim the canisters, but both the Kingpin and Ghost Rider continued to interfere with his plans.

One crazy half demon employed by Deathwatch as an enforcer. He is Danny's arch enemy. A very cocky individual who has no regard for human life. He likes killing. Men, women, children. ANYTHING. During a fight with Danny, he is badly scared. He learns who the Ghost Rider really is and acts accordingly.
A good voice comparison for this character would be Jim Cummings as the Green Goblin (Shattered Dimensions) or you can do what you wish.

Danny and Barbara's mother. She is a very kind older woman who is a devout Christian (I'm not going to go overboard with this, don't worry). She values the lives of her children over everything. She eventually will reveal to Danny that he and Barbara are adopted as she and her husband (who has died) were unable to have children of their own

An NYPD captain tasked with hunting down the "flame helmet guy" who's apparently terrorizing New York. He is the single father of Stacy Dolan, who just so happens to be Danny's girlfriend. He acts as Danny's father figure until Johnny shows up. He ignores Danny's repeated attempts to tell him that Ghost Rider is trying to help people.
Go for a gruff sounding voice if you can.

A recipient of the Super Soldier serum back during WWII, Steve Rogers fights for justice and American Ideals as one of Earth's Mightiest Heroes. He leads the Avengers and will help Danny in a rescue mission early in his career as Ghost Rider. (casting now, not needed for a while)
A Chris Evans or Roger Craig Smith impression will do just fine.
