Augusta is the "main" character, so will have a lot of lines.
(frustrated) "Just.. give it here, Cass."
(sarcastic) "Yep! That went about as well as I thought it would. Great job everybody."
(reflective) "What happened to us, Shu? ..How did our lives turn into such a flaming pile of shit?"
Another of the lead characters, he's basically a total cinnamon roll- so nothing too harsh. His voice should be about medium in terms of pitch, and generally smooth. He is 17 years old, and sometimes lets his kindness interfere with his judgement.
(concerned) "Hey.. hey now, don't cry! Oh darn, if you cry I might have to as well, and then we'd both look silly" *laughs*
(happy) "Welcome, stranger! I'm sure you have friendly intentions, but would you mind.. erm.. not rifling through our bins in the middle of the night? I'm awfully sorry, it's just that well.. sleep is good!"
(defeated) "Yeah, ok, I get it, this fucking sucks. But what's the point? Nothing will get better if we don't at least TRY"
She is quite smug and antagonistic and especially enjoys poking fun at Rye - she should have quite a high-pitched and harsh voice.
(mockingly) "When's the funeral, dork?"
(uncertain) "H-hey.. what the heck Aug? That's.. pretty shitty, even for you."
(melancholy) *Laughs sadly* "Well, Rye.. how did we get here, I wonder?"
The moodiest of the group of children- his parents are Russian but he ran from them as he felt a duty to protect his fellow Kell. He is always extremely stoic and serious.
(annoyed) "So, when are you gonna tell her, hmm? That life isn't some fucking fairy tale. As if she hasn't already noticed."
(collected) "We should move- quickly. Don't ask questions, just go."
(realisation) "I... I've got an idea."
Zae is the youngest and most shy of the main characters and effectively the "baby" of the group at 11 years old. She is taken care of and sheltered as much as possible by the other characters, but while she appreciates their efforts she wishes deep down that her real parents were still around.
A very soft voice would be best for her, and her accent is unimportant.
*her nickname for augusta is "augie", pronounced with a hard g.
(happily) "Welcome back everybody!"
(curious, sad) "Augie, why am I the only one who has a birthday? Did you lose your birthday, augie?"
(scared) "Cassie, is he coming back? the bad person?"
Gerban is a 14 year old boy, who has just come out of a gang and is unknown to the rest of the main children until a little into the first book. While he tries to act tough and mysterious, he is still a child deep down and his vulnerability occasionally shows.
(mocking) "Heh, not bad- but I'm just warming up!"
(pumped up) "Yeah! Lets beat his ass!"
(sad, reflective) "I.. I'm not sure... They just got me, you know? They understood what it was like."
Sai is the daughter of a wealthy businessman, and the new best detective in England. She is one of two people called onto the case by Melody due to her quick rise in fame. She is very keen to prove her worth and fears what others think about her, which sometimes leaves her a bit too eager about things and lets her naivety show. She has been quite sheltered by her father so the newfound freedom sometimes means she can get a bit overwhelmed, however she can be quite headstrong when she is very passionate about something.
For her it is important that she does have an english accent, and a relatively high voice- but not a shrill one.
(in awe) "Oh nooo... this guy seems cool!... WAY cooler than me! This is bad!"
(frustrated) "Please.. if you let me just show you!"
(shocked) "Wait.. you're telling me that THESE are the kids you're looking for?"
The head of the City police department, a woman of 21 years and african american descent.
(weary) "Look, Sai- this young man is simply far more qualified than you. I just cannot allow you to oversee this investigation... I'm sorry."
(calm) "Welcome, both of you. I'm glad you could make it."
(with a hint of playfulness) "Well, I have to say I'm surprised. Glasses really do suit you after all."
The other detective called out by Melody, but from Poland rather than England. Leirus also comes from a relatively rich family and is used to getting exactly what he wants. Throughout his childhood he was always the best at everything, so now it is quite a shock to him to be around people on the same level, causing him to be a bit passive-aggressive. Towards the end however his character will develop a bit as he learns to deal with failure.
(self-satisfied) "Look, sweety, just take a back seat for one second will you? I'll have this case cracked before you even know what happened"
(shocked) "I'm.. sorry? I think there must be a mistake"
(disgruntled) "Pfft. Don't you get too cocky now.. that will be your last mistake."
She is only needed for a few lines in the first episode, so if you get casted feel free to stick around the server, but there will probably be no other roles for you after!
(happily) *Laughs softly* "Again? Alright dear, as long as I get a hug"

(concerned) "Aug, go get daddy. Tell him that we have a visitor. No no- don't look behind you darling, just go. Mummy loves you."
I can't reveal too much about his story, but his voice should be deep and powerful, and an English accent is required.
(angry) "Now, use your head, child. Don't you think anybody will notice? You're delusional."
(relieved) "Just please... never do that again, promise me?"
If you feel your voice doesn't fit any of the characters listed or you simply want to audition at all, please try for an extra! Do your best voice, this role is open to anything, from mad scientist to cute schoolgirl- if I think I could use your voice you will get casted! Thank you very much <3
