Kawasaki Yuji is a Japanese Samurai who has lived since the Edo period. Empowered with both divine and demonic energy, he takes Pride in his skills and will challenge any who see otherwise. While he can acknowledge the power of others, he is constantly wishing to sharpen his skills to show his own.

Kawasaki Yuji is a powerful Samurai, descended from Shinto Deities. His/Her bloodline and abilities were dormant until (s)he was granted the Mark of Pride from a powerful Demon. The Mark awakened his/her divine powers and provided them greater strength than they thought possible. That was in the Edo Period. (S)He has since become a powerful Yakuza boss and wants to use his/her power to achieve the greatest heights possible and eventually ascend to true divinity.

(Amused) "How many years has it been? How long since I have seen my own blood spill so freely? Perhaps not since World War 2. That knight was the one who did it. A worthy opponent. You have proven yourself equally so. Hence forth, I will no longer treat you as a child. Come warrior! I will strike you down with my full power!"
