Katana Zero - Voiced

Project Overview

Katana Zero is a 2D action platform video game developed by Askiisoft.

The project is a non-profit voicing of dialogues in the game.

Update: An emergency cast is needed for the role of Snow (mainly because I didn't realise I had to find someone for them yet).


The deadline is drawing close. I will pick the actor based on the audition performance at the end of the day of the deadline.

  • We are delaying one extra week until Nov 30th.

    Thank you very much everyone for your auditions, the actors have been selected for their roles. We are currently looking for one more voice actor for Snow, reason why we delay once more. In the meantime, recording of the cutscenes has started. Transcripts coming soon. Zero is in his early 20s who lost his memories after a severe head trauma in the war, currently working as a hired assassin for an unknown employer with his main contact being his psychiatrist.

It's also shown that he harbors severe guilt over his actions in the war, of which he dreams every night.

Depending on the dialogue options chosen by the players, Zero can either be a serious, impatient character who consistently interrupts others and is not interested in conversation, but they can also be kinder, more patient, and more willing to cooperate.

On the surface, the psychiatrist appears to be a professional, keeping to what his employers have assigned and holding himself and his clients to a high standard. If Zero is cooperative with him, he will congratulate him on jobs well performed and suggest that Zero might even meet his family. However, if Zero provokes him or fails his missions, the psychiatrist will reveal a seething rage.

  • "Please... Come in and take a seat."

    "The shadow that enters the room... Tell me about that."

    "Perhaps the shadow was the machine's operator?"

    "Yes... The person probably did not wish to hurt you. You shouldn't be afraid of them."

  • "Our employers are pleased with your work last night. I'm not sure I share the sentiment. Maybe you could answer a few questions for me. When did you start using a gun?"

    "...What? Did you speak to Electrohead?"

    *Angry*

    "I SPECIFICALLY TOLD YOU NOT TO SPEAK TO ELECTROHEAD."

    *Calms down*

    "...What did he say?"

The Little Girl is generally very jovial and carefree. When she first meets Zero, she is oddly friendly to him and insists that he let her into his apartment to search for her lost Toy.
