WARNING BEFORE AUDITIONING: THE FOLLOWING SERIES CONTAINS VERY MATURE THEMES. AUDITION AT YOUR OWN DISCRETION.

Hey! I'm planning on an audiobook based on one of my favorite type-moon series. Set in Japan predominantly during the late 1990s, the series chronicles the life of Ryougi clan heiress, Shiki Ryougi, and her relationship with fellow classmate Mikiya Kokutou.

Before you audition, here are some rules:

1) A good quality mic

2) able to turn in lines on time

3) Must be able to contact you

4) Have fun recording!

(Voice type: Medium, Medium-low)
The main heroine of the series. She Possesses a supernatural ability known as the " Mystic eyes of death perception" where she is able to see how the person she looks at dies. She has a cold, mean, heartless and distant personality, but can react very feminine, especially towards Mikiya.

  • Do you have the right to lecture me about school? I don't remember such a promise, and what's more, you've already dropped out of college.

  • (Narrating) In the midst of youngsters nowadays where so many fads appear one after another, gain speed, and finally dash out of control into disappearance he was a boringly "rare kind" that kept the image of a student: He doesn't dye his hair or let it grow long, He doesn't get a tan or wear accessories, He doesn't carry a cell phone or play around with women, His height is around 170cm or so, His kind-looking face is more on the cute side and his huge black glasses make that feature stand out even more. Even though he has graduated from high school, he dresses ordinarily. If he were to dress up a bit, he would likely catch a few eyes.

  • I don't have that kind of admiration for the sky. I don't feel alive, so I don't know the pain of living. To be honest, I don't care about you at all. But I don't like you keeping him. I got him first, so I'm taking him back.

He is gentle, sincere, compassionate, eloquent and very charming, but mostly his personality reflects his Origin "one that will never hurt others, more so than anyone else." Mild-mannered and caring, he is someone people easily trust and become loyal to, even strangers can comfortably speak with him.

  • Good evening. You look lazy as always, Shiki. I passed an accident on my way here. A girl jumped from the top of a building: a suicide. Though I heard it's been happening a lot recently I never thought I'd see one myself.

  • Shiki. You skipped school again today, right? I don't care about your grades, but you won't be able to pass unless you attend at least the required days. Did you forget about our promise to go to college together?

  • (Narrating) Ryougi Shiki has been my friend since high school. Our school was a famous private high school which taught a lot of students who went to a good college. When I went to see if I was admitted, the name Ryougi Shiki stood out so much that it was stuck in my head. Ironically, we ended up being in the same class. Since then, I became one of the few friends Shiki had.

Our school did not have uniforms so everyone expressed themselves by how they dressed. Within these people, Shiki stood out. This is because Shiki always wears a kimono. Always.

(Voice type: Medium, Medium-low)
Touko is an individual with dual personalities, allowing her to change her personality depending on how she views the situation. When she first spoke to Mikiya on the phone, she had a serious tone to appear important, whereas when she meets Mikiya in person, she seemed nice and friendly. She switches depending on her glasses. When wearing them, her facial expressions are calm and kind and she is objective and ruthless. After taking them off, her facial expressions are very cruel and she is subjective and emotional. It is unknown, even to her, which is the real Touko, but emotional or not, she is fundamentally a romanticist.

  • I guess the one yesterday makes eight. People should start to notice the similarities by now.

  • But I heard they are all unrelated. The girls who committed suicide are all supposedly from different schools with no connection to each other. It might be that the police are hiding the facts, though.

  • Because not one will has been televised. Six, no, eight people. If there're that many, at least one should have left behind a will. But if the police have not said anything about it, you'd think they are hiding them.

(Voice type: Medium)
The main Antagonist of Volume 1.
Kirie is quiet and timid. She is defined by day-dreaming and floating. She has been plagued by disease and spent her life in the hospital ward. After losing her sight, she viewed the world with renewed clarity, and was set free with another body after awakening her spiritual ability. She has no goal even with this body, so she has nowhere to go. She lingers and floats, and although she desires to make new friends, they cannot hear her or sense her and this causes her to grow lonely. She possesses their souls with the intention of making them notice her, resulting in the body of the victims to commit suicide in the process.

  • (Narrating) ...It may be because of the strong sunlight, but I can only see her silhouette. She is not wearing a jacket, but her pressed, wrinkle-free suit makes her look like a teacher and causes me to relax somewhat. Nonetheless, her orange tie is rather flashy for her white shirt, so I have to take some points off for that.

  • ...I can fly. I can fly. I liked the sky from before. I was flying yesterday too. I could probably fly higher today. Freely. Feeling peaceful. Laughing. I have to go quickly...

Where? To the sky? Free? ... That's... Escape from reality. Yearn for the sky. Reaction to gravity. No feet on ground. Flight under unconsciousness. Let's go, let's go, let's go, let's go, let's go, let's go------------------ GO!

  • The me at the Fujiyoh building isn't me. Myself looking at the sky and myself in the sky, that me gave up on me and flew away. I have been left behind even by myself.

(Voice Type: Medium-High)
Appears in the Epilogue of Vol 1, but is very recurring.
Azaka is a "tragic heroine" whose love, Mikiya, was snatched away before her eyes by Shiki. She had the false assumption that Mikiya would always be alone, so she buried her affection and played the role of the "good little sister." While she is a perfect model student, differing from Mikiya, her true colors are exposed around Shiki and Touko. She is a predator that always captured her prey, a wolf in sheep's skin, and because her love is pure and beautiful, although a little twisted, that is why it will not simply disappear. She becomes Touko's apprentice simply out of necessity to match Shiki, but they actually like each other's personalities. Only their relationships with Mikiya make it difficult for them to become good friends.

  • Touko-san. She committed suicide by jumping off that building.

  • I heard there was a lot of that last year, but is it still occurring a lot? I don't get what goes on in these peoples' minds. Do you know, Touko-san?
