Project Overview
I have fallen in love with this anime from episode one.
The story tells of high school student, Nanami Momozono, who finds herself homeless thanks to her father's gambling debts. However, the last thing she expects is to become the new Land God of Mikage Shrine! Together with her new familiar, Tomoe, she will attempt to survive all that high school has to offer in addition to fulfilling her Land God duties. Things get even more complicated when she starts falling for Tomoe...and he starts falling for her as well!
However, a relationship between a human and a familiar is impossible. Or is it?
Seeing as the five bonus OVA episodes (Kako-hen) have not been dubbed into English yet and I'm tired of waiting, I thought we could do it ourselves!
In the OVA episodes, it chronicles Nanami's adventure as she travels to the past to try to break a curse on Tomoe by finding his past lover, Yukiji. Time travel is not without consequences, and the more Nanami tries to keep things the same, the more she keeps messing things up. But...is she really destroying the past or setting the future?
Try to match it up to the English voice actors as much as possible, but still bring your own uniqueness to the role!

Nanami's other familiar who has the tool to send her back to the past; he genuinely cares for her; even though he constantly fights with Tomoe, he only wants Nanami to be happy so he accepts that she is in love with Tomoe and not him

In order to protect himself from angry villagers, Tomoe shields himself as a young child and hopes no one will recognize who he truly is; Nanami saves him which causes Tomoe to begin falling in love with her

The goddess of the Swamp who is in a relationship with a human boy thanks to Nanami's powers and intervention; the two of them are very close friends; she comes to check in on Nanami after her visit to the past

Nanami's extremely cynical familiar who tries to hide how much he loves her since their relationship is forbidden; for the majority of the OVAs, we see Tomoe from the past who has not yet learned compassion for humans and enjoys causing havoc for them; depite all of this, he falls in love with the human Yukiji...who is actually Nanami!

A fallen god with whom Tomoe made a deal to become human so he could be with Yukiji; however, when he got news Yukiji died, the spell to become human rebounded and will kill him unless Nanami finds a way to break it in time
Men and women may audition for this because the god appears to Nanami as a man, but appears to Tomoe as a woman. Therefore both a man and a woman will be playing this role.
