Kaijuu no 8 Abridged/Parody Fandub
Project Overview
This is the first casting for Kaiju no. 8 Abridged. I have experience already in making Abridged projects and this will follow the same sort of timeline as my other works.
We are NOT looking for sound-alikes or impressions on the English VA's and are casting strictly on acting ability and overall quality.
Requirements:
- A decent microphone with little background noise. (Yes, USB's are fine as long as its somewhat good.)
- Acting ability, we are going for believable instead of an attempt to sound like the original cast.
- Discord as a method of communication

We're looking for a voice that can sound more modern with a hint of bratty princess. She is really down to earth, but can come across as someone who projects that they are better than everyone else, for good reason.
Note: You DO NOT have to sound like the english VA. Use your own interpretation. We are taking quality and acting ability over sound-alikes. And be prepared to do fighting adr and yelling as combat scenes are a must.

The name is Kikoru. Now if you unhinge your jaws from that cement maybe you can tell me yours.
He seems very cocky but genuinely cares for his team. He is a very proficient fighter in hand-to-hand combat and can come across as very condescending. He is however a good boi.

Well recruits, this is it. Either deal with the Kaijuu or (pause) it deals with you. Either way go get em' champs!
He is a bit of a bombastic guy who hates to lose. He like to act headstrong and confident, often to the point of bragging but will often feel inferior and less useful in actual combat.

Okonogi is a brilliant character who provides analytics for the defence force. She acts very professionally, but can let her excitement slip and will often express her emotions in serious events.
Note: We are not looking for a sound-alike. We are looking for acting ability and quality over sounding similar to the English dub, and welcome different interpretations of the character.

(To herself) Well would you look at that. (Announcing to everyone) Kafka Hibino! Unleashed Combat Power, Zero percent!
We have several suited up, taking combat readings sir. Unfortunately some are doing better than others.
(Yelling to alert the others) A Fortitude nine point eight! This signal is... Kaiju number eight!
Haruichi is more relaxed and level-headed than most of his teammates. He is very observant and cunning.

Yeup we need a "dee bradley baker" so to speak. We want the kaijuu to sound somewhat natural with sfx applied over. We are looking for monster sounds, growls, and yells.

And this just in! ANOTHER Kaiju has started another onslaught through down town. The defense force has been dispatched to death with the threat.
This is the Roster/Audition section for any other roles you do not see yet. Some characters are not in the first few episodes, so they don't have a dedicated page; however, you may still audition or throw a demo reel in for any upcoming roles in the future if you don't mind waiting.
