Ayano is a kind and selfless character who will sacrifice anything to save others; however, she lacks self confidence and believes that inside she is weak and and selfish. What I'm looking for most in auditions is the ability to convey emotions through your singing alone. Aside from that, her voice should be gentle and soft, although not as cutesy as Marry's.

Kano is a character whose good intentions get lost in a maze of lies and self doubt. With the help of his eye power, he tends to internalize his problems and show a cheerful facade to everyone on the outside. His voice should sound amused, with the ability to slip into quiet seriousness at any moment.

Kido is a commanding, reassuring figure in the Mekakushi Dan. She has a leader-esq presence most of the time, although occasionally she lets the antics of the others get to her. She generally tries to look out for the others, while also standing back to let them find their own way. I'd like her voice to be on the lower side, clear and commanding, but with a slight sentimental edge to it.

Seto is a gentle, easily overwhelmed character. However, the small acts of kindness he gives out can mean a lot. His voice should sound somewhat shy, but reassuring.

Shintaro likes to shut off his emotions, preferring technology over people in order to spare himself the pain of caring. He does care, though, and that should reflect in his voice, which is on the lower side and maintains a slightly irritated or aloof edge.

Beneath her seemingly boundless energy, Momo is a character who never wants to give up. She can be cheeky and occasionally naive, but overall she wants to see everyone happy and will go to extreme measures to achieve her goal, getting upset when she seemingly isn't able to make a difference. Her voice should be bubbly, possibly with a slight nasal edge. She wears her heart on her sleeve, too, so in this song she'll be very emotional.

Hibiya is a somewhat brash, yet mature, twelve year old boy. Through his rashness it can sometimes take him a while to think rationally, but ultimately he'll always do what he believes to be right, easy or not. Because of his age, Hibiya's voice should be younger than the other male characters, and with a slight impatient, almost wistful, tone.

Hiyori is an intelligent, yet sometimes insensitive girl. Sometimes she uses people; however, there is a warmer side to her personality. Although she has a reluctance to help people with small problems, she will put aside her own feelings to help others overcome larger issues. Her voice should be one of the younger sounding female voices in this project, with a clear, sweet voice that can sound either bored or regretful.

Azami is a gorgon, or medusa, who has been struggling to live among humans for hundreds of years. She fell in love with a young man but knowing that their time together was limited caused her to doubt everything and disappear into her own world. Azami's voice should be the most mature out of all the female voices in the group, taking on a wide but sad tone. She has lost literally everything; her sense of hopelessness should show in her voice.

Due to her illness, Takane is often sleepy and extremely irritable. When she became Ene and left her human body behind, she became much more loud and cheerful instead. Her voice should be slightly rough, not angry, but definitely not as heartfelt as Ayano's. For the song I'd like her to sing as Takane in certain parts and Ene as others; so please audition with a more cheerful tone as well. Which voice to use for each part will be marked.

Haruka is always cheerful, with an optimistic outlook on life and a big appetite despite his weak physical condition. He doesn't usually care what others think of him, either. Konoha, a sort of alternate form of him that was born when Haruka entered the heat haze, is quiet and naive. Haruka's voice in this song should be calm and a little melancholy, changing to curiosity when Konoha is singing.
