(I've got a full voice cast, and I'm now looking for some volunteer writers to assist in writing some character dialogue scripts for this Plants VS Zombies Voice Headcanon Fan Project! More information about the writing style is down in the role itself below. (For the voice actors auditioning: All you need for this project is a decent-sounding microphone. By desktop or phone, it doesn't matter, as long as there's little to no background noise, no mic popping, and no static when you audition. I'd recommend you record through Audacity if you have it, as it tends to give the recordings a pretty pristine quality. A Discord Account for contact is recommended, but not required, as I can contact you here on the Casting Call Club website if you'd like, Discord is just more of an easier reach. Hello, Plant Lovers and Zombie Fanatics! I'm planning a special voice headcanon project imagining what all the Plant and Zombie heroes from Plants VS Zombies: Heroes might sound like if they had dialogue! How this project will work is that I will set up lines for each character, and add all kinds of different dialogue for each of the heroes in different scenarios, like in Mortal Kombat or Injustice! No animating is required for this project, as it's entirely audio-based. The audio-track of this project featuring the collection of these lines will be uploaded to my YouTube Channel. I'm looking for some volunteer writers who are able to assist me in writing some dialogue scripts for 17 characters. I'm looking for writers who are completely free and have lots of spare time and don't have too much on their hands. Because 17 character scripts are a lot, I'm looking for multiple writers that are willing to write on the same script together to spread out the minimum effort. I originally planned for most of the characters to have 3 trash-talk lines, but if more than 3 ideas pop in any writer's head, they can add it into the script so that all those great ideas can fit. You can choose to go all out, but I suggest writing small. Since I'm the head honcho of the project, I can work the hardest for all of you, adding in the spice to some of the draft lines you make to add in more character, but if you want to do what I'm doing too, you're all welcome to as well! Here are some scripts I've made featuring Green Shadow, Super Brainz, and Solar Flare, to give you all an idea of how long the scripts are planned to go, and an idea of what the other characters may say based on their personalities.
The original project link is up above, to help you get a better view on every character's personality, and maybe what they might say based on their voice too. I'll take care of Chompzilla's lines, since she only speaks in growls and monster sounds. And I'm more than halfway done with The Smash. The Trash-Talk lines are based on Mortal Kombat/Injustice games. If you're one of the writers that are cast, I'll share you some of the lines I've made that I plan one of the characters to say that haven't got a script yet, and if you'd like, I'll even allow you to write in new additional lines for the finished character scripts I've made if you've really got a good one you'd like to share! Whoever gets cast and has Discord, I'll give you my friend code, and invite you over to my server, where I'll add in a writers channel where we can all work on the script together, and it'll be exclusive to just us. The Way of the Shroom... That's a way that the wise and crafty Nightcap invented himself, and that's his way and title to always keep! Like with Green Shadow, Nightcap may be a plant hero who lurks in the shadows until the time is right to strike, but will not HESITATE to help rescue any fellow plant or human in danger! Nightcap's agile, shifty, nimble, and those zombies NEVER know what he might plan next! During his free time, Nightcap likes to work on his fung fu in his very own custom-built dojo, and he has recruited LOTS of mushroom students to train as much as him! While Nightcap might have agility by his side, he wants all of his battles fast and aggressive anyway. Nightcap takes NO prisoners, and he wants all of his fellow shroom recruits to approach the battlefield the same way! The wise Nightcap believes that the more troops they are of HIM, the meaner and better the battle goes with the patented Fung Fu!
(I'm looking for a new voice for Nightcap. For Nightcap's voice, I'm looking for a medium-pitched male voice with a calm, wise, disciplined, but serious and edgy tone to him, with any of these accents. Everyone knows zombies cause chaos... But chaos can be controlled, harnessed, and defeated using only a clear mind.... And a lot of Fung Fu. And I, Nightcap, am all about Fung Fu. I train day in and day out, inside or away from the shadows I lurk in... Always waiting for the prime opportunity to strike when the time comes. The Way of the Shroom's always a wise, patient way.

Look up there in the sky! It's a seagull! It's a bungee jumper! Wait, no! It's the mighty Super-Brainz! Faster than a speeding thistle, and more powerful than a taco truck, Super-Brainz is ready to dish out heroic justice to any plant that DARE stands in his way! Super-Brainz may be a kind-hearted and selfless superhero at heart... But NOT for the right reasons if you're a human who values your brain. You should avoid this super deadhead at all costs if so... Because Super-Brainz is on a super mission to make any human he sees brainless, and then take away the brains from his victims and donate them out to all of the needy zombies who are lacking one! In Super-Brainz's mind, what he's doing is a VERY super-heroic good deed... And no human can convince him otherwise in order for him to leave the more alive race in peace! The only thing that's a dead giveaway to his non-superhero qualities is his hairstyle... But that doesn't stop this vain zombie from feeling really proud of his looks and then staring at himself in the mirror before every battle...
