I'm looking for a couple of Female Voice Actresses (and maybe some male ones later on) who can pull of some upcoming roles for me.
There are a couple of rules for auditioning
1) Please, have a good quality mic that can compare to those in the first episode I linked before. If your Mic doesn't sound as clear as the others, don't audition please (sorry to be an ass about it)
2) If you ARE cast for this project, PLEASE STICK WITH IT I can't have voice actors dropping out, especially with a series that I WANT TO KEEP CONSISTANT
3) Be able to record lines with me directing you over Skype, this is a BIG ONE
4) Be able to record semi-regularly, some characters only show up once, although there are also some characters (I.E. Guess) that show up for a big chunk of the series, and precedually show up in little bits later on
Hey gang! Salty here, the creator of this project, sorry about the lack of communication, it's been a pretty damn busy few weeks. But thank you all so much for auditioning! Although, I am going to have to extend the audition deadline because of two characters I still need. The two female guards.
Also, great auditions so far everyone!
This Guard is concerned about one of the prisoners at the Jail. She's kind of spineless at points, easily manipulated.
(Semi-Shocked) "Hey Guard... I think this prisoner fainted..."
(Concerned) "I wonder if this jacket is too tight..."
(Concerned) "I'm loosening the belt for her."
Unlike Female Guard 1, Female Guard 2 is large and in charge, and won't take any bullshit.
(Yelling at another Guard) "Hey! What are you doing!?"
(Yelling at a prisoner) "WHEN I SAY TAKE OFF YOUR CLOTHES, THAT INCLUDES YOUR UNDERWEAR!"
(In a semi whispering tone) "Insult them before starting, it helps later. Get me my rubber gloves"
(Angrily) "Are you Jolyne Cujoh? YOU'RE UNDER ARREST! YOU HAVE THE RIGHT TO REMAIN SILENT!"
(Authoritative) "So you admit it! You ran him over didn't you?!"
Guess is the first "enemy stand user" in Stone Ocean, and is the Main Character'scell mate in Stone Ocean Prison. Her voice can easily go from a very harsh tone to a very light and happy tone at points, and she is a little bit scary because of that. Guess is a fun role, because of how many emotions she shows off, but this can also make her a hard character to Voice Act at points. Be sure that you can go from a light cheery tone to a yelling and screeching tone very easily.
(NOTE: Guess shows up a lot in Stone Ocean, she's a very important character)
(Apologetic) "I'm really sorry. I don't have guts, especially when meeting people for the first time... I was nervous, and did things I shouldn't have..."
(Yelling/Angry) "THE BOTTOM BUNK IS MINE!! YOU GOT A PROBLEM WITH THAT, YOU STUPID PIG?"
(NOTE: In this line, you are in someone's face, really get into it)
(Enthusiastic) "GOOD GOOD GOOD
GOOD
GOOOOOOD~~"
(NOTE: You say this line in a quick succession, in response to a pet doing a trick you taught it)
