JoJo's Bizarre Adventure Steel Ball Run Manga Dub
Project Overview
Hello everyone! With the potentiality of an anime announcement in the air, what better way is there to get fans excited for Steel Ball Run than with a fandub of the manga? Right now, I'm casting the major characters for the part! Minor characters and antagonists, as well as a casting call for editors, will be created at a later point! Familiarity with the source material isn't required, but some of the lines for the characters will have some spoilers!
Story
Steel Ball Run marks the start of a second continuity entirely separate from the events of Parts 1-6. Despite this, the story retains several core features of JoJo, including Stands, as well as numerous references to the original continuity, such as character names.
Set in the U.S. in 1890, the story follows Johnny Joestar, a paraplegic ex-jockey, and Gyro Zeppeli, master in the mystic art of the Spin, as the two compete in the trans-American Steel Ball Run race and uncover its benefactor's sinister motivations

Decent quality mic. I'm not asking you to have your own home studio, but please no background noise!

Must be 16+
This series involves a LOT of intense emotional moments. Screaming, crying, the whole nine yards. Please make sure that this is something you are capable of performing when auditioning!

Johnny is the main protagonist of Steel Ball Run! I'm mostly looking for a medium pitched voice for this. Adding a sense of naivety to him would be appreciated, but isn't necessary!

The deuteragonist of the series, and a best friend/mentor figure to Johnny. I'd like a medium to medium low pitched voice for Gyro. An Italian accent is not necessary, but you are welcome to give it a shot.

Diego is a British racer who servers as both a major antagonist, as well as a supporting character during the part. The voice I'm looking for medium to medium low. The feeling I want Diego to give off is deceptively soothing, with a hint of intimidation.

Steven Steel is the man responsible for organizing the Steel Ball Run race. He serves as a supporting character, often operating behind the scenes and away from the main action. I'm looking for a low pitched voice for him.

Lucy is the husband of Steven Steel, as well as a major character in the story. Her motivations base themselves from protecting her husband, Steven, causing her to cooperate directly with Johnny and Gyro. Any sort of high pitched voice works for her!
This role will contain some sensitive topics, so please keep that in mind when auditioning!

Hot Pants is another supporting ally in Steel Ball Run. She often works alongside Johnny and Gyro to oppose the American Government's mission of collecting the corpse parts. A medium to high range voice works for her.

Sandman is a Native American who entered the race in order to buy his ancestor's land. He's a fierce racer, opting to race without the use of a horse. Looking for a deep to low voice for him!

Pocoloco is another major player in the Steel Ball Run race. With the power of luck on his side, he's able to keep up with even the most experienced racer. We're looking for a medium to low voice for him!
He and his stand, Hey Ya! will be sharing a voice actor.
